The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! "The hotel is elegant and perfectly maintained. Location is perfect for exploring the lake shore, visiting the Olympic Museum or riding the tram up the hill to the train station or to the Old Town. A unique hotel with a welcoming staff, not to be missed."

"Brilliant service from the staff - was relieved it was manned 24hr and it a computer screen. It is only convenient fir the airport and Geneva centre IF YOU HAVE A CAR. Nearest train station is not practical if you have luggage, it’s a few miles and buses are it frequent or very late. A taxi costs @£50 from the airport so USE UBER. Facilities are modern and innovative and in the absence of a restaurant grab and go was a great idea."

"Great location, less than 10min walk from the train station. Staff were very friendly. Great buffet breakfast with hard boiled eggs, breads, meats and cheeses, cereals, espresso. Walking distance down to the lake or up to the castle area. Transit card included which I didn't not use. "

"Very happy with our stay overall. Just one suggestion. In bedrooms where you have instead of king size beds single beds placed next to each other, they tend to move and a gap opens between them. Perhaps they can be locked together so they remain in place. Another very minor comment, the breakfast room needs to also have big spoons for those eating cereals. Perhaps they were there, but we couldn’t find one. Again, much enjoyed our stay, thank you to your staff, will certainly be back."

"Starling hotel is an amazing option to stay in Lausanne. We stayed for 5 nights. This is our second stay in the same hotel. Very convenient place to stay. Helpful and Welcoming front desk team and cafe staff. Good breakfast. Clean room and hardworking housekeeping. Nice view from the room. Highly recommend this place if you want to spend few days in beautiful Lausanne."

"If arriving by car, beware. Two lanes of taxi rank in front of hotel. No where for us to park. Had to find a public car park, then walk to hotel to check in. Staff advised us to park just off footpath then unload bags from car. Then given instructions of hotel accredited car park which is a 8 minute walk away. If arriving by train, no worries, as station opposite hotel. Think that hotel website could give forward warnings of car parking situation in advance."
