"The hotel was clean, check-in was easy. I got an upgrade, too. The restaurant was nothing special, and the breakfast was average. The bed was very good, and the room was very quiet. Parking was free, which was surprising because it was not mentioned on the list of amenities when I was booking it through Hotels.com. One other very good thing - breakfast was from 6 am."

"It is a grad hotel Soviet style closed to the old historical centre of the city. It is part of a huge casino with most guests coming for gambling. It is conveniently positioned. Rooms are of a good sized but outdated, tied, not fit with enough electric points for charging you phone or a tablet. Instead of a show it was an old style bath. Was not able to use swim g pool. They sell tickets to it to outsiders. It was so busy- no chance to swim. Massages in spa are cheap but you get what you pay...

"The hotel is well appointed, very nice clean comfortable room with a good hot shower and good water pressure ( I hate wimpy showers). The bed was very comfortable. The parking was easy and we'll lit. The staff were excellent and spoke perfect English ( in case that might be a concern). The restaurant brewery on site is a Germanic menu as you can imagine. "The room and staff at Boris Palace were wonderful and located nicely near all tourist highlights of Plovdiv. Couples on a romantic trip may find the bed a bit squeaky but it was our only complaint."

"A not so good to say the least. A per hour yse base hotel looks like. Spent only one night was there for less then 12hrs. The only good thing is the shoping mall infront of the hotel front door."
