Fabulous and Fantastic Find!!
This place was an incredible and completely unexpected find! The out of the way location and beautiful surroundings were indeed a breath of fresh air! Staff completely welcoming, as indeed were all of the other guests. In all of the years of my extensive travelling, I've never experienced anything like it!!

The "low cost" rooms are VERY basic, the TV system didn't work in my room, only one station was available. The bathrooms are shared, reasonably clean and up to standard. Nice surroundings and quit area.

Questionable hotel although the night was okay
We booked the hotel via the hotels app, checking certain requirements before booking. Additional costs, facilities ect... Arrived at the hotel and was greeted with additional cost not listed on the app. Covid related ventilation costs we were told. They also tried to put us in a shared bathroom room even though what we booked said private bathroom. Additional parking costs which we were not aware of. Loud guests and thin walls. Although we had a okay nights sleep and the facilities were suitable when we were given the correct room. The whole situation was rather strange and I suspect they fool travelers with these ridiculous additional charges.

If you enjoy sitting in the middle of a group of drunk elderly people loudly singing and clapping to loud Schlager music, EVERY DAY, then this hotel might be for you, were it not that the room was not clean, did not include toilets and showers (and the shared ones were not clean either and were always out of toilet paper), and everything was broken. The curtain was hanging off its rails so that it could not close entirely, the (empty) refrigerator was so loud that it woke us up and had to unplug it. Then, the music from the terrace started playing again and 7 am and woke us up. On top of all that, parking was not included and surprised us with extra costs. Honestly, the room looked like it was painted by an underpaid teen (paint stains were everywhere, from the ceiling to the dirty carpet). The closet was damaged. The staff were rude to us when we complained. The manager was outright hostile. At least breakfast was alright. Would not recommend this hotel, avoid at all cost if you want to nice hotel stay.

Actual Costs Compared to Reservation Costs
Hotel De Elderschans charged me extra for a private bathroom although included in booking confirmation. I showed them my printed reservation which states Private Bathroom and toiletries included but they said room booked was Economy and I would have to pay additional 10 Euros for a Private Bathroom. On top of that they made an additional (unpublished) charge for car parking at an additional cost of 9.90 Euros. Total cost came to 56.20 Euros including taxes considerably higher than the 33.65 quoted so I have been somewhat mislead when it comes to prices and am far from happy.

Hotel was absolutely fine for the money, no complaints. Just make sure you ask for a room as far away from the bar as possible as it's quite noisy at night Nothing in walking distance of the hotel Gym was an added bonus with basic equipment

The rooms and personal was good, but they charge you over 12 Euros for parking, don't tell them when they ask, they don't seem to check this because there is so many parking spaces. Music from German Schlag till almost 11 pm but could handle it. But worst was one toilet for women on the first floor for many rooms and since my arrival for one night very dirty the whole time. Someone should check on this several times per day.

This is a hotel to drink, dance and party with loud music. Not to rest and sleep, they say budget hotel, I would say it is Dorm or Hostel of that nature. It was a bad experience, may be there was better feature in other standard or luxury rooms.

Heerlijke omgeving en sympathieke mensen
Dit hotel is prachtig gelegen in de directe omgeving van Aardenburg : we hebben ons hart verpand aan de gezellige terrassen, het mooie park bevolkt door al dan niet levende dieren (!) en de weidse omgeving waar je 's avonds op een prachtige zonsondergang wordt getrakteerd. Verder is er nog het lekkere eten dat oneindig gevarieerd is en natuurlijk allemaal aan een behapbare prijs. We komen zeker nog terug

Rien a dire sur l hôtel, vraiment au top pour le prix, nous sommes juste déçu de devoir payer 65 euros alors qu on devait payé 49 comme indiqué sur l application. 15 euros de taxe on trouve beaucoup pour juste une nuit.

Beschreibungen stimmen nicht Es war ein Boxspringbett ausgeschrieben Es war ein normales Doppelbett mit zwei getrennten Matratzen Viele Spinnenweben, und Ungeziefer Die Fenster stark verdreckt und von Fiechern befallen das man sich kaum traut das Fenster zu öffnen Auch die Gemeintschaftsräume sehr unsauber und stark riechen Also für uns steht fest NIE wieder

1) vu que j'ai réservé à 1h30 du matin je n'ai pas eu d'autre choix que de réserver du 09/07 au 10/07 . j'ai donc téléphoner à l'hôtel pour expliquer que nous arrivions dans les 30 minutes et qu'ils nous fallait 3 chambres . Ils m'ont dit au téléphone qu'il y avait dans ce cas un supplément de 30 € car la nuit du samedi au dimanche coûtait plus chère. Chose que nous avons accepté . Une fois sur place ce n'était plus un supplément de 30 € mais de 50 € qu'il fallait payer . Nous avons donc payer de 100 € par chambre . Le lendemain matin j'ai fait une simulation via votre site pour réserver du 15 au 16/07 et le prix était de 70 €. Nous nous sommes donc fait voler . De plus il y avait un chien dans une chambre voisine qui a aboyer toute la nuit . Mes amis qui dormaient tous nus ont eu la bonne surprise d'avoir un admirateur à la fenêtre de leur chambre . Il a un sentier le long de l' Hôtel ou les promeneurs passent et peuvent sans soucis venir voir ce qui se passe dans les chambres .

This is the worse hotel I ever been at. The room was terrible. The funitures was brooken, and it was dirty. We shared toilet and shower. It was dirty and I could’t use it in the morning . The breakfast was ok for the cost . But I should nerver recomend this hotel to antbody.

Beste, We vinden het spijtig dat u uw verblijf niet goed heeft ervaren, onze hotel heeft 2 afdelingen: budget en comfort, de budget kamers zijn vaak simpel ingericht en daar zijn de prijzen er ook naar wel van alle gemaken voorzien en schoon en dit is wat u geboekt heeft, had u tijdens uw verblijf dit aangegven hadden we samen kunnen kijken wat u niet beviel, we danken u alsnog voor uw feedback.
