View from the lounge and rooms is amazing. Breakfast had everything a person could want. The room was very clean. The only negative thing is that the last day (of 6) I noticed that at night one or two rooms on the top floor could actually see anyone taking a shower in our bathroom as there is no covering on the bathroom window.

A good stop off on the way north on N2
A great hotel, well placed with good views over surrounding countryside. The pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds. Service and food in the restauarant was great, and cost less than we expected.

We had a very disappointing stay! We arrived at the hotel and there was no parking left as locals were using it all as no number plates were recorded. We entered the reception and there were 3 staff at the desk with 1 customer. Not one of them acknowledged us or smiled or said sorry to keep you waiting for 15 minutes in total! We had booked half board and the food buffet was very poor and cold! The ‘hot containers’ were cold. We then had bad stomachs all evening. Breakfast in the morning was exactly the same, cold eggs, mushrooms and bacon etc. The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. No robes and no slippers. Very disappointing.

We tried to solve it from the first moment and did our best to ensure that it was duly overcome. Regarding the situation at reception, we inform you that the check-in was carried out in advance and that the rooms were immediately provided. Regarding the buffet, it was a women's day buffet and they were asked at check-in if they intended to enjoy it, which we were told no. Despite the negative response on your part, all the perks of women's day were offered, including drinks. For this reason, we reiterate our apologies, stressing that this was an exceptional situation and that it does not correspond to our common practice. Stunning hotel, with amazing views. Good breakfast, cozy room. That said, the service leaves much to be desired. Inexperienced staff. Our VIP Access booking has been not VIP at all. Cleaning room had to be requested 2 times in the same day (at 2 pm, it hadn't been done yet). We ran out of toilet paper. Our gift voucher for a bottle of wine has been exchanged for a mini bottle of wine... Are you kidding me? And this is a so-called 4-stars hotel! There was no manager to reach out and report any of that, and the man in charge of the restaurant was really arrogant about the "wine issue", saying that "a bottle of wine can be either small or large", and if we weren't happy with the small one, it was because of "our own expectations". Unbelievable. Never coming back.

Desagradável, mas não há melhor na zona.
- Falta de normas de trabalho, tanto me pedem um voucher ora me pedem apenas para assinar. Não há noção do processo de check-in standard. - Insonoridade péssima. É possível ouvirem-se chamadas ao telemóvel a 3 quartos de distância ou qualquer movimento no corredor. Também se conseguem todas as passadas da sala central. - Não há qualquer tipo de cuidado extra para os hóspedes recorrentes, ou seja, é sempre necessário fornecer o número de identificação todas as reservas quando o número já está no sistema. O número do quarto é frequentemente perguntado ao pequeno almoço. É perguntado o horário do pequeno almoço em que recepcionista tem que escrever uma folha sem qualquer utilização efectiva futura. - O quadro elétrico de alguns quartos faz um tictac constante - Alguns funcionários do restaurante usam sapatos com sola de madeira, o que provoca um barulho incómodo desnecessário num momento calmo como deveria ser o pequeno almoço. - Gestão pouco apta e/ou interessada a implementar melhorias depois dos problemas serem identificados. Pontos positivos: limpeza imaculada, ainda que as funcionárias não usem máscara quando limpam o interior dos quartos.

Um fim-de-semana fabuloso
Apesar de ser uma estadia de apenas uma noite, esta foi uma experiência muito agradável e que nos fez ambicionar voltar muito brevemente por um período mais longo a este hotel. A qualidade e o conforto do quarto e a simpatia do pessoal, em particular o da recepção, foram alguns dos pontos fortes nesta estadia.
