This was a wonderful bed and breakfast just a few miles from the busy streets of Adare. The owners were helpful, asking if i needed anything. The country setting of their home was quiet and peaceful yet it's near enough to the town. I highly recommend. The only drawback was a lack of internet at the place, but that is a minor thing.

The house and surrounding gardens are beautiful. It is located close to Adare, a beautiful and quaint town

Like staying with a rich granny. Lovely hostess, beautiful bungalow just 4 minutes from Adare village in pristine gardens with secure off road parking. Very quiet and secluded.

Pauline the owner is great! She’s lovely and the room and decor was very nice. I couldn’t recommend this b&b more. Pauline went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful to us.

The B & B was in a good location with charming well maintained gardens which abound in bird life.The proprietor was a lovely lady who went out of her way to make us welcome and to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend this B & B to anyone travelling that area.

Elm House is a quaint and cozy b+b in an equally quaint small town. Pauline was a great host and we enjoyed our stay here. Note that you will need cash for payment on site.

Beautiful room.. hospitality brilliant! Pauline is such a lovely lady! Totally enjoyed our stay in Elm House and would recommend to anyone! Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious! Attended a Wedding in local hotel and Pauline drove us to hotel the next morning! I have never stayed in a more hospitable b&b! Highly recommended

My excellent stay at Elm House
My stay at Elm how was excellent. Mein host, Pauline, was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. Elm House proved a very comfortable and tranquil environment and the food was plentiful and really good. I was visiting for a wedding in Adare and Pauline drove me the short distance to the church and helped me organise a taxi back. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Pauline is lovely!
If you like quaint and old fashioned styled homes, this is for you. Very comfortable. I had some issues with the shower though. Couldn't get it to keep a steady temperature. The bathroom in our room was very small. You could barely sit on the toilet without hitting the door! But the bed was very comfortable and pauline was sweet and made us a lovely breakfast. Heads up when you book on hotels.com you only pay a booking fee. Pauline asks for 75 euro cash only at checkout

The home was charming and quite comfortable. Upon arrival we were offered tea or coffee which was served with cake and cookies. Such a delight. The breakfast wa sumptuous, plentiful and made specifically to our desires. The home owner was very sweet and accommodating. Loved the place and would definitely return there. The village is also charming and close to many interesting sites.

This was advertised as a small hotel, but it was a B & B in a lady's private home with a small room & washroom down the hall. Nice breakfast provided & host's recommendations on dining in town were helpful.

A perfect experience staying at this B&B. Extremely clean and comfortable, close to the town center, and the hostess showed an enormous sense of hospitality. The breakfast was delicious! I'm definitely staying there the next time I visit Adare, and would recommend it to everyone.

This is such a gorgeous B&B very conveniently located just outside of Adare village. We were attending a wedding at the Woodlands Hotel so the location was perfect! The breakfast was delicious, such great value.

The host was great. The room was neat and clean. She made a delicious breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is the size of the bathroom. Your knees hit the door while sitting on the toilet.

Charming bed and breakfast
Stayed one night. It is about a 5 min drive from the town of Adare but we had a car so it wasn’t a big deal. Cute little B&B. We were checked in by a lady who lives on premises with her husband. She pointed out the kitchen where we had a very abundantly served breakfast...we were the only ones staying and I think she made enough for at least 6 people! Since we were the only ones staying, we had the bathroom to ourselves! I noticed there were 3 other rooms and I’m not sure if all would share bathroom but that could be crowded if so. There’s also a big yard to walk in if you’d like. Very well maintained. We had a wonderful conversation with the lady (I can’t remember her name!) and she’s so kind...it was like being at mom’s house! Overall it was a great experience at a B&B!

Everything was great. Wish there was WIFI and would have been good to know that only cash was accepted for payment, but our hostess helped to sort that out. Great town nearby. I Would recommend stayin here to anyone. Very nice place.

The B&B was difficult to find due to innacuracies with Google maps and to the fact that I arrived to the area very late in the evening. I submitted a request to Google requesting an update for future customers looking for this lovely B&B spot.

Pauline went out of her way to make sure we had breakfast before leaving early am. The room was a bit small but nicely appointed. Bed was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Location was great, just outside the main traffic of Adare. Would return again. They are working on obtaining internet.

A lovely family home in a very picturesque setting. Pauline our hostess was friendly and gracious, serving a very nice Irish breakfast with suggestions for a nice evening meal close by. The room was clean and comfortable with a full private bathroom.

Everything about The Elm House was delightful. Pauline was the perfect host. She made a fantastic traditional Irish breakfast each morning, and had out several other yummy options such as cereal, wheat biscuits, fruit, and yogurts. She also put out tea, coffee and cake in the evening when we opted to sit in the very comfortable living room area with a fireplace (that she always kept going). We had one of the larger rooms from what I could tell (Room 1), and it had a wonderfully comfortable queen bed and beautiful furnishings. Everything felt very clean. The private bathroom was very small which was expected, so much that my taller boyfriend had to sit with the door open when on the toilet, so that his legs could fit. Lol. The property itself was beautiful, and the adjacent property had horses and sheep, and we enjoyed walking over and interacting with them. Sincerely, everything about this place was exactly how a bed and breakfast should be. I can’t say enough positive things about it.

A wonderful host.
Pauline gave us a warm welcome when we arrived at Elm House. Nothing was too much trouble for her to make our stay comfortable. I am on a gluten-free diet and she went out and made sure that there were gluten-free cereals, bread and sausages for my breakfast. Very happy to recommend staying here if in the Adare area.

Had a great stay at the Elm House Pauline and Michael were lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for you. We were on bed and breakfast the breakfast was brillant good variety and quality was smashing I would have no hesitation in recommending there accommodation.
