I thought staff was very pleasant easy to work with. How soft pillows were and mattress great. HOWEVER they charged me 50. $ for what I don,t know .They were the ones that took the money out.But when I checked out said that I got the room thru Expedia and that you would give the 50, back. Is that true?

The location was good for the reason for use. However, we had bugs (stink bugs) in the room. The building is a smoke free building and that's what we understood, however the place smelled of smoke so bad we had to advise the front desk. Was not since of emergency to find out who and fix, they just turned the air on higher so hide the smell. Place seems like a good place to spend the night, but the beds were caved in the center, so you had to try and sleep on the edge. Definitely, will not stay at this location again.

The property was nice and convenient for my stay.The woman at the dining area on Friday night was rude when taking orders and seemed very overwhelmed. Also, I didn’t get a welcome bag and was told “we’re not allowed to give out any water’’ and to purchase bottled water when I asked for one that morning prior to leaving for work. I didn’t get to participate in their breakfast so a bottled water while staying there so a bottled water is not asking for much. At least I don’t think so.

The Hilton Garden Inn is located in a quiet area of Albany. However there king size bed was a little bit soft for me to sleep comfortably. Don't expect to have bar or restaurant service on the weekends.

Check-in guy was rude, the website stated there was a pool, when checking in was told they had no pool. Found the pool and it was drained with furniture placed inside the pool. Went down on Saturday asked for clean towels, was told they will have them sent up to my room, never got the towels until i went down Sunday morning asking back at the front dresk for towels. There was also a very nasty smell that was coming from the bathroom, not sure if it was coming the tub drain or the toilet. I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times otherwise the room smelled bad. Also why would you have the bar closed on a weekend?

Property was clean. Staff was friendly. Excellent gym- has a peloton and good choice of weights. Only down side is it is right next to Thruway. I did hear the traffic at night when I woke up but nothing that kept me up. Food was good at in house restaurant. Shades in room are completely black out which was nice too.
