An amazing view
excellent small hotel with the most amazing view. room had everything you would need. aircon , safe, fridge, shower and the most amazing view. spotlessly clean and room made up every day and the most amazing view. perfect location for a visit old town albufeira. did i mention the view ?

Good value, far enough away from the busy old town, but close enough to walk to. Lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket a few blocks away. The facility is next door to the cat sanctuary.

Staying at Frontomar in Abufeira
The accommodation was good. All building and rooms have a very neat deco. They cleanliness in my room, all along my stay, was superb. The location was superb by the beach and Penaco Elevator for beach access. The hotel manager and/ or staff were rarely at the reception desk which was all odd to me. First time ever but I presume they were accessible at the ring of the bell. Despite the extreme heat that I could not get used I did enjoy my stay at Albufeira. Climate change may change our holidays habits all together, and end up taking holidays in Autumn or Spring only.

A great little find!
We booked this as a pretty much last minute decision thing and didn't expect too much due to the time of year and late booking. I'm glad to say this exceeded our expectations in every department. The location was perfect, bruno and the staff were very helpful and could not be nicer, the place itself was spotless and well looked after. Everything we needed was a short walking distance or a quick taxi ride. I would most certainly return to Frentomar. Keep up the good work Frentomar! 10/10. :)

This property is well situated on the edge of old town with close access to the beach elevator and a 20 minute walk to the marina. The views from the balcony were stunning and we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. The cat park next door was an unexpected and pleasant surprise for my daughter and I.

Just loved this place, peace and quiet but just a short walk into the old town. Nothing flash but spotlessly clean and really nice staff. Lovely room and balcony with a view to die for. One minute from the lift down to the beach and bars and restaurants along the street. Will definately be back next year.

Little Hideaway Above the Sea
This small and nondescript hotel has a great location for walking onto the amazing beach or into the lively Old Town. Public transportation is not great in Albufeira, but that's not the fault of the hotel. You need to do a lot of walking or rely on taxis or Uber. The staff is helpful about local information. Note: the train AND bus stations are about 8 Km from the city, so they're not a viable option for everyday usage.

Good value for money
Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel — finding affordable accommodation in peak season was difficult, so this one was picked just because of the price. But it turned it to be a good pick: great location between the old town and marina, close to the beach. The room was basic, but ‘good basic’. Housekeeping was done to a good standard. No complaints and would happily stay there again.

Great little find.
Great views of the beach. Comfy bed to sleep in. They allowed us to check in later which was nice - I just needed to contact them about our arrival time. Front desk was helpful and attentive. It was close enough to walk to the marina and the old town but couldn't hear any noise on the evenings.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff & amazing views
Lovely friendly hotel on the beach in a quieter part of the town. Close to great restaurants and bars. Our favourite were Restaurante rossio and Iguana Café. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but more than adequate, with a small balcony and an amazing view and great air conditioning. The room was very clean, cleaned daily.

Fanstastic Frentomar
The staff and management could not have been more helpful. I had a couple of personal issues and the apartment managemnt were incredibly supportive and really helpful. The room was in a fabulous location spotless clean and with amazing views ...5 mins walk from the dead centre of old town but really quiet on a night ... i actually couldnt believe i got so lucky with a late booking...brilliant

This was a perfect location for us to stay. Our host was wonderful and the building was super clean and fresh. Our room had a small fridge and kettle station for tea which was perfect. The bath room was stunning and sparkling, the bedroom had comfortable beds and plenty of storage, air conditioning and a sliding glass door. The basement offered a lovely well kept kitchen with stove top, dishwasher and fridge. Fully stocked with the appropriate utensils and crockery, Attached was a beautiful dining room to enjoy your meal. The location was sea front not beach however it was a hop skip and a jump to the elevator to take you to the beach. Everything was within walking distance. This hotel was surrounded by fabulous restaurants and close to all things Old Town. A wonderful vibe in the town and a safe walk back. I would love to stay here again and highly reccommend it.
