Great out of season hotel.
Second time this year. Knew they have a great indoor heated pool. And breakfasts good. Staff helpful and attentive. They do well to keep going out of season at such a low price. Many thanks

The best in Monte Gordo
I keepgoing back because it's comfortable, quiet, and a good value. I love the indoor pool and breakfast is very good.

Well Positioned Hotel
Ideal well positioned hotel for a 1 night stop 5 minute walk from the beach. Free parking outside the hotel.

Depressing Stay
I wrote ahead asing for the two twins to be made up as one bed. The hotel did not write back or make up the bed. They I got a lame excuse when I arrived. I asked for coffee in the morning. The machine was in the restaurant but the desk person said I had to wait for breakfast. The walls are paper thin. They don't seem to want you there. Decent mattress and bedding. Also, a nice indoor pool with power jets for massage.

Fantastic Hotel
We have stayed at the Monte Gordo Hotel many times. This is a very friendly hotel with courteous staff & a high level of cleanliness. The service we have received has been consistent on every stay which is why we are return guests. Bedrooms are a medium to large size with very comfortable beds. The apartments are large with good quality furniture. We haven't used the spa facilities so cannot comment on this service though i would expect it to be of the same high quality standard of the hotel. Breakfast has a good choice of food for all nationalities and the breakfast room offers a relaxed atmosphere, we have never needed to wait to be seated and staff are always welcoming. A perfect start to the day!

I very much enjoyed this hotel. From check-in to check-out, it was pleasant and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the pool area was great, and breakfast was delicious. The front desk was especially friendly and accomodating. This will be my hotel in Monte Gordo in the very near future.

Amazing stay at Monte Gordo, from check in to check out. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly and so helpful. The hotel is spotless, pool is nice. Wifi in the hotel is really good and you have a smart tv in the room. Definitely recommend the hotel and will be back.

Pool was cold, staff in the restaurant didn’t explain the procedure to order breakfast correctly. The bar was supposed to close at 12 but was closed at 11.30 when we came in for a night cap before bed. No kettle in the room or mini bar as stated

Good location and facilities...
Good facilities , indoor pool , close to the front to enjoy the sea , breakfast good selection . Walls a little thin so can hear your neighbours and corridor activity .,

Loved that kids were allowed in the spa area w/ no restrictions. Loved how the apt was properly cleaned daily (including sweeping of the floors).Kitchen well equipped, clean, wonderful experience! HOWEVER, the shower curtains smelled like urine as they were kind of plastic and that is the kind of thing you see in a 2 star hotel. 4 star hotels need a glass in the shower/tub, not plastic curtains.

Perfect location
We loved it. Great breakfast, atmosphere, very accommodating staff, bar had a great choice. Good location for restaurants, bike hire, free parking, everything you need, nice big rooms too. We’ll be back again very soon. Only one slight change would be to open the gym before 9am.

Monte Gordo has lots to offer
The apartment was spacious, close to the beach and had a good kitchen area. At night there were plenty of good restaurants nearby and lots of nightlife.

Comfortable rooms, excellent Air con, recent décor but smaller than in pictures (might just be the room I booked - cheapest), Hotel had plenty of free on-road parking around front and option of free hotel parking. 5-10 min flat walk into main restaurant and beach areas. Disabled lift to avoid steps at entrance. Wifi in room a little hit and miss, same with digital TV signal (not good when World cup footy is on !). Breakfast good quality and wide choice. Friendly helpful staff. Good value at the peak of summer when most hotels of this standard were well over £100/night. Would revisit.

Good stay, however
Good hotel, though wi - Fi very week, needs improving in that area. Gym also could do with some new machines. Only had 4 running machines.

Good hotel a short walk to beach
We had a room with only windows no balcony. The apt.s here are very good and would be a great stay.The town itself is very small and limited but if it is beach you are looking for you have come to the right place!

Good location. Hotel is outdated, staff no Help!!!
No working A/C, cheap outdated furniture, awful pillows... rooms too hot without A/C... TOO NOISY since doors had to be open for fresh air. Worst place we stayed EVER!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Superb Hotel, more than can be said for resort
Unfortunately our stay coincided with every other road in Mont Gordo being closed for water mains replacement. This caused us to spend over an hour going around in circles trying to locate the Hotel. Thankfully the Hotel was worth the effort, the resort of Monte Gordo wasn't.
