Great hotel close to town
Nice b&b with attentive host. Central location and we were able to borrow beach towels and umbrellas for the day. Would recommend to others staying in town. Good value for money.

Thumbs up in Alghero
If you like staying in B & Bs, and they’re very common on Sardinia, this is a great option. Easy to find, centrally located and well run. The rooms are generous in size, clean and quiet. Dolores, the owner, speaks excellent English and is an enthusiastic ambassador for the island. Do be prepared to haul your luggage up 2 long flights of stairs though!

Lovely B&B
This is a great choice for your stay in Alghero. Upon arrival Dolores greeted us, and offered us a coffee and told us all the info we would need for our stay. We arrived quite early (around 11 am) and we were able to leave our bags so we could head to the beach. The location is great a 5-7 minute walk to the Old Town, and a 10 minute walk to the beach. (there is also a grocery store and laundromat nearby) The breakfast served every morning is a lovely way to start the day with fresh pastries, coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheese. However, rostly what impressed me with this property was the hospitality. Dolores was so helpful and kind and made our stay so pleasant.

Good to visite the old town
The Room is located in an apartment which is itself located on an old building. The access to the apartment is through a set of stairs that can be off-putting but it worth it. The hostess is very nice and the apartment is very clean. Easy access to the old town and be aware that parking is impossible or you have to be very lucky. A positive experience.

Whole experience went so smoothly, hostess was so friendly & helpful. So much information of places to go, local restaurants that were recommended were so good. The only negative maybe the stairs however if you are reasonably fit, they would not be a problem and it is a small price to pay for such a great location and great hospitality. Highly Recommended.

Nice value, convenient location
Location: It's a 5 minute walk from the old town, and we were able to park right outside the building. Service: the owner Marija is very nice and looks after the guests well. Breakfast was served according to our schedule in the morning and included some tasty seasonal items. Comfort: I found the pillows less puffy than I prefer but apart from that it was quite comfortable. Overall: this B&B is a great value and we enjoyed our stay - recommended!

The week we spent here was a very good experience from start to finish. Shortly after booking, Marija & Francesco made direct email contact with us, providing useful information on how to get to the B&B. On arrival, Marija gave us a map and a personal Alghero 'orientation'. The "Mediterranean Room" was of a good size, clean and pleasant with a comfortable bed and a TV (only Italian channels - but lots of them!). The ensuite bathroom was small but well-equipped. Breakfast was abundant & varied: bread, pastries, yoghurts, eggs, cheese, dried meats, coffee, tea, juices, etc. We fitted in round a single table with the other guests (British, German, Swedish, Swiss, Polish, Italian, ...), actively hosted by Marija or, on occasion, Luisa. Each morning was like a mini dinner party, with wide-ranging discussions, and we inevitably spent much more time there than we intended to! Alghero (& Bosa & Castelsardo & the Cape) were great and we were quite fortunate in the weather (for early October). There are some good restaurants in the old town but in the end we actually preferred some odd ones we came across on the street between the old town and the B&B. Still wishing we had had a few more days in Alghero & this accommodation - perhaps we will have another opportunity!

Cuscino e Cappuccino, a great option
Marija was waiting for us when we arrived. The rooms were spacious and clean, with their own bathroom. The breakfast was great: bread, croissants, coffee, tea, cheese, ham, jam… Francesco was preparing the coffee for us, and was very helpful too. The only problem is that the internet connection was really bad and the street is a bit noisy, otherwise, great!

although the building is not nice from outside and the lack of lift to get the second floor we found the overall experience very pleasant, the B&B was clean and the owners friendly and helpful with many useful tips. We would certainly recommend it.

We were more than happy to stay at this B&B. Firstly, the location was great - very close to the city center and the bus stop, lots of nice restaurants in this area. Secondly, the host was helping us with every our request and suggested to us lots of nice places where we could go in order to explore more of Alghero. The host prepared every breakfast with so much love. The table was full of cheese and salami as well as fresh croissants, fruits and juice/coffee. It was our second time in Alghero and we are totally in love with this city. So we hope to stay at this B&B next year too!

Wunderbares B&B
Dolores ist eine liebe und angenehme Gastgeberin. Zimmer war sehr gross und sauber. Das Frühstück wurde von ihr persönlich angerichtet und lies keine Wünsche übrig. Das B&B liegt etwa 5 Minuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Ideal zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Hôtel avec entrée très délabrée
Très déçu par cet hôtel avec 2ème étage sans ascenseur et chambre propre mais mobilier rudimentaire et bruyant si fenêtre ouverte. Bon petit déjeuner mais pris dans une cuisine vieille avec toile cirée sur table. La salle de bains non attenante à la chambre. A recommander uniquement pour étudiant sans ressource.

You were aware of the 2nd floor without elevator, it is clearly indicated in your booking information and you have booked our only room with private bathroom outside the room ... this is also indicated in the booking confirmation! Did you know from your reservation, our b & b is located in a central position, close to the historic center and the port ... I suggest for the future to pay more attention to what you need and for your next vacations in Alghero I will be happy to help you and your wife to book a 5-star hotel ... a place away from the city and immersed in the silent nature of our countryside ... obviously at a really higher price ... I understood from your words that it will not be a problem for your economic resources! We are also very sorry that you did not appreciate our decor, actually we intentionally kept the rooms as simple as possible, it's really a matter of taste! Take care!

Ejeren Dolores var hele opholdet værd. Morgenmad blev indtaget i køkkenet i hyggelig samtale med Dolores mens hun tilberedte den italienske kaffe du nu ønskede mens hun gav gode informationer om Sardinien. Værelset var hyggeligt indrettet og håndklæderne dejlig bløde. Med en vært som Dolores kan vi kun anbefale B&B som en dejligt personligt alternativ til et hotelophold. Vi giver vores varmeste anbefalinger til et ophold på B&B Cuscino e Cappuccino.

Séjour très sympathique au sein de ce B&B, avec un accueil irréprochable (indication sur les lieux à visiter, plan avec les différentes plages à voir etc.). Le logement est idéalement situé, on peut tout faire à pied (port, vieille ville, restaurants, bars...). Dolores prépare un petit déjeuner copieux et variés tous les matins. Le seul petit bémol a été pour nous le bruit du voisin du dessous qui restait toute fois supportable ! Je recommande!

B&B carino a 2 passi dal centro
ho soggiornato con il mio ragazzo al B&B 5 giorni dopo essere stata a Stintino. ottima posizione a 2 passi dal centro e dalla fermata Alghero-Via Catalogna, fermata centrale per linee bus urbane, linea beach ed extraurbane (Bosa, Sassari, Stintino..). La struttura distribuita su un unico piano (al secondo piano senza ascensore) conta 5 stanze e possiede una cucina dove viene servita la colazione. Dolores è stracarina e molto disponibile, ci ha fornito subito cartine e brochure linee bus, oltre a consigliarci ristoranti tipici e cose da vedere. Colazione: croissant ripieni, toast da farcire con formaggi e affettati, yogurt, frutta e cereali. uniche 2 pecche della camera (magari però le altre camere ne dispongono): mancanza del bidet e del balcone (per poter aerare il telo mare e far asciugare costumi/vestiti lavati) CONSIGLIATO, ci tornerei sicuramente.

Very nice hostel
The hostel is very close to the center, only 5 minutes to walk. We drove by car and had no problems finding a place to parking spot. I would recommend renting a car, because you can visit beaches which are a little bit away from the city and not that crowded. The owner of the hostel is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.

Como en casa
Está bien situado para ir andando al centro histórico, limpio y acogedor. Dolores, la dueña, es encantadora. Te explica qué hacer y recomienda sitios, siempre atenta y con una sonrisa. El único pero, que nuestra habitación tenía el baño fuera, era privado eso sí, el resto la tienen dentro. El cappuccino es otro nivel. Recomendable 100%, Dolores te hace sentir como en casa.

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy that you liked our location! Indeed, it is very convenient, as we are close to everything: old town, buses and the beach! We also would like to apologise once again for the inconveniences you had during your stay. We do not try to justify, but it was really a one time event and we repaired everything as soon as we knew about it. The only thing that took longer time to repair was the WiFi – however it was an internet company fault. Nevertheless we hope you had a great time in Alghero and will give us chance to prove that we know to provide also a problem free accommodation :)

Gemütliches Zimmer am Zentrum
Trotz der Lage-mitten an der Hauptstraße und neben dem Gefängnis- war es nachts super ruhig. Tagsüber hat uns der Straßenlärm nicht gestört-wir waren sowieso unterwegs! Das Zimmer ist modern und komfortabel ausgestattet, im Badezimmer könnten die Armaturen ausgewechselt werden. Dolores als Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns gleich Tipps gegeben,was wir alles unternehmen können , wo wir kostenlos parken usw. Beim Frühstück gab es alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Hyggelig velkomst, nyttige reisetips, vennlig personale og god frokost inkludert. Beliggenhet er perfekt, veldig sentralt til gamlebyen, samt bystranden. Vi hadde bil og fant lett parkeringsplass rett utenfor, gratis:) herlig opphold som kan anbefales:) :)

Ho soggiornato tre notti, lo stabile è molto datato, le camere si trovano al secondo piano senza ascensore, il materasso troppo morbido e cosa più grave, non c'è il bidet. Il proprietario, assieme alla compagna, sono molto disponibili e gentili, per qualsiasi informazione potete chiedere a loro. A pochi minuti a piedi dal centro. Sconsiglio l'escursione alle grotte di nettuno, sia per il prezzo del battello che per la visita alle grotte, che costano altri 13 euro sul posto, solo che non è specificato dalle compagnie di navigazione, ed una volta lì sei quasi obbligato a visitarle.

Erittäin positiivisesti yllättynyt vierailusta tässä paikassa. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja tilava. Aamiainen oli kattava ja kaikki palvelut toimi moitteettomasti. Maria oli ihanan ystävällinen ja vastaanottavainen. Häneltä saimme myös erinomaisia vinkkejä mitä tehdä Algherossa. B&B paikka sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla. Vanha kaupunki sijaitsi ainoastaan 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Käytettävissä oli myös aurinkovarjoja ja rantapelejä, joita sai lainata rannalle. Voin suositella erittäin lämpimästi tätä paikkaa! Hinta-laatusuhde oli enemmän kuin kohdillaan.

LAS HABITACIONES ESTAN BIEN
Es un bed and breakfast y por tanto son habitaciones dentro de una casa, está reformado de hace poco. La habitación está bien, el baño muy pequeño pero todo limpio. Lo que está muy mal es la entrada al portal y subir dos pisos andando que está como en ruinas y da mala impresión. Pero el trato es muy bueno y se está a gusto. Estás muy cerca del centro histórico y vas andando por la noche, que es la única parte bonita. Por el día en coche a la playa o andando al puerto a una excursión en barco.

Erg leuke B&B met vriendelijk ontvangst.
Zeer goed bevallen. Vlakbij het centrum en het strand. Alles op loopafstand. Je had echt het gevoel dat je een gast was en zeer welkom. Iedere ochtend heerlijke verse broodjes en verse cappuccino.

Super godt hotel med søde værter
Da vi ankom blev vi mødt af Marijah, som er en af ejerne. Hun viste os B&B og gav os nogle gode forslag til restauranter og oplevelser, også andet end det alle andre oplever. Alt i alt meget tilfreds, ville altid gerne komme igen. Eneste minus var, at den nærmeste strand er 10-15 derfra ved at gå. Lækkert morgenmad og godt udvalg.

Wij verbleven begin juni 2 nachten in Alghero, waarna we vertrokken langs de noord en noordoost kust van Sardinie. We hebben de b&b dus goed kunnen vergelijken met de andere hotelletjes waar we verbleven. Cuscino e Cappuccino is ons goed bevallen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen met een drankje door de gastvrije eigenaresse.. Zij gaf ons ook meerdere handige, bruikbare tips. Bijv om iets verder te wandelen naar het Pineda strand, inderdaad veel mooier dan het stadsstrand! Verder hebben we haar tips voor restaurants opgevolgd en 2 maal heerlijk gegeten! De kamer was ruim en schoon en dichtbij het oude centrum. In het oude centrum logeren lijkt me het leukst maar daar betaal je dan ook veel meer voor. Al met al voor deze prijs een prima b&b.

Apartment... laut an einer Hauptstr. gelegen
Habe ca. 80 Übernachtungen in Apartments u. Hotels im Jahr. Das Bett/Matraze hier, war von der Übelsten Sorte.Geht gar nicht. Um 8.00 Uhr morgens war ausgemacht zu frühstücken, da der Rückflug anstand.(10Uhr). Niemand war da kein Frühstück.... nix. Ärgerlich!!! Wir brauchen das nicht mehr... Danke

Dear Regina and Peter, thank you for your feedback and we are really sorry you didn't quite enjoy staying with us. There must have happened some misunderstanding about the breakfast time... Could it be that we were just a bit late while buying fresh bread and croissants? Any way, it shouldn't have happened, that you leave without a breakfast. We are also a bit surprised and sorry about your disappointment with the mattress. We bought new mattresses this winter and they are of very high quality! It's a pity that even after paying so much for them, some our guests are still uncomfortable sleeping... We will definitely try to improve and make sure there are no misunderstandings with the other guests. Wishing you many happy trips! Marija and Francesco
