I wouldn't return even for an overnight stop
We usually stay in this type of hotel as an overnight stop when on holiday, from the outside this seemed ok. Check-in was fine but the corridor lights didn't all work and the carpet very thin in places. The room itself was very small, it was tired and in need of a renovation. Pillows were absolutely terrible with lumps and bumps but no support. During the night it was like a sauna with no AC whilst the whole hotel was very noisy, which basically meant hardly any sleep

It was ok
Pros: Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean; Parking lot was enclosed in a gate that shut from 11pm to 7am (access only with a code), and staff were nice Cons: The room smelled STRONGLY of cigarettes, even opening the window could not get rid of the smell. The bathroom was clean but not very nice, and the hallways seemed dirty.

Breakfast was ok, but carpets and bathroom was very worn out. Walls ate very thin and don't reduce much noise from the neighbour. Too expensive for this condition...

Quick stop on the way home
Its very basic but bed comfortable. Not the cleanest and could do with a fresh coat of paint. But for a put stop on route to Calais it was fine.

The property is in an industrial area. There is a shopping promenade not far away with a KFC and Buffalo Grill as well as a baker and butcher. There is a petrol station not far from the property. It is a 10 minute drive to the centre of Amiens. Breakfast is 12€ per person per day but to use the coffee machine outside breakfast hours is 1€. The water pressure is not the best.

Stopover
For a stop en route to or from the channel ports it is ideal. It is cheap and secure with the basics of a good shower, good clean linen on the bed and a reasonable breakfast.

Unsafe for children. Avoid
Room was ok but no toilet soap, half a toilet roll, paper cups for hot drinks. Room very hot with no air con. Worst of all was bedroom door not lockable from inside so 2 year old kept opening door and running into the corridor so had to push one bed in front of the door to prevent her from opening it. Also my granddaughter was able to open first floor window fully as no restricted and if not seen in time could easily have fallen out.Told receptionist who said that being unable to secure the door from the inside didn’t matter as no one could enter bedroom without entry card. Didn’t accept the risks for children.

Don't bother
The location of the hotel was convenient for shops and restaurants but not ideal if you want quiet break. The hotel itself represents that you get what you pay for. Clean enough mostly but very basic. What ruined the stay was the rudeness of the majority of the staff - from the moment we arrived they made us feel completely unwelcome and that we were a nuisance for being there. They were clearly understaffed but that should never be transparent to paying guests. Our party was over 22 people which represented a considerable amount of money for this small hotel but not only was this obviously not appreciated but a simple request to either open the bar or allow us to bring our own drinks in was refused point blank. If there are licensing rules preventing this it should have been made clear either by the hotel or by booking.com at the point of booking. Would not recommend it under any circumstances.

Good location with a car
The price was good. The staff were friendly. The room was clean enough however on leaving and checking round we found some socks that didn’t belong to us under a table. The triple room layout was not ideal with the bathroom right next to one of the beds. The room did the job and the location was convenient for Amiens. The breakfast was ok but I would probably just go to the boulangerie on the other side of the roundabout which we did on our second morning.

Ideal stop for those travelling farther
Chose this hotel as it was close to Calais on return trip to UK. Perfect for one night stopover and close to amenities of Amiens.

North Amiens in commercial centre
A bit difficult to locate but amongst all the commercial buildings....Carrefour, Hardware depots, etc.....near main ring road so best if you have a car. Check I was smooth and efficient. We had two rooms. Internet was irregular and kept going on and off. Weak signals...not good for business people. My shower and toilet was terrible...water saving devices meant poor flow of water......wasted so much water flushing and showering. Get rid of them. Check out was delayed.....very annoying....

Very comfortable with friendly reception. The room was perfectly clean, every day and everybody helpful. WIFI not working during our visit but would certainly stay again.

On arrival Recption , extremely rude . Says there is a restaurant, no there isn't , in occasion disgusting smell . Bed most uncomfortable,, cheap foam mattresss ....l do not recommend Run down , as basic as it gets

Decent hotel
Roughly 5.6km from centre of town sounds and looks a lot longer than it is. It took us about 40 min to walk only with suit case. The wifi isn’t the greatest make sure you got data to spend in the hotel. Other than that very good hotel breakfast, room and staff were great.

Disappointing stay
This hotel doesn’t do any thing for Kyriad reputation,it is old tired and the breakfasts dreadful , dirty ,old unwatered plants and wisened up fruit in the so called restaurant I would never go again.And I would make sure I check out future Kyriad stays before booking. very disappointed

Annoying first night
We stayed here 3 nights,,, first night at 3am,, i was woken up with really loud music from the next room,, my partner got up went to reception,, no one there,,so one of the other guests rang the hotel,, and a while later one of the staff came,, opened the door to the room,,, and no one was in there,, it was the tv alarm that had set the tv to come on,,, the next night same thing happened ,,but someone was in the room,, and turned it off,,,

Hotel is located on a commercial estate and was not easy to see from the road. We were disappointed to find the bar and restaurant closed on a Friday evening when there were very few alternatives locally - only a bar and restaurant in the local hypermarket complex. Although wifi was advertised, no one in my party could access it. Room was adequate and clean. No reception staff on duty to check out. I can understand why it was almost empty,

A disappointment.
Having booked a room three weeks before, it was very upsetting after a long day travelling by motorcycle to be told no room was available. The girl on reception phoned other hotels for us, but all were full. After an hour the manager appeared and showed us a booking request from Expedia dated the day before we arrived!! Who messed up Expedia or Kyriad? After pressure from us a room was found, with a dirty stained carpet that would not normally be accepted by anyone. In desperation and having taken a stressful hour and a half to get a bed we felt we were not in a position to complain. My worst hotel experience ever.

Dreadful dirty hotel with rude staff
Dreadful dirty place made worse by rude receptionist who insisted we had not paid for the hotel even when I showed her the confirmation that said all paid for so only way to get the room for the night was to pay for it again . Luckily hotels .com sorted it out for us on our return would rather sleep in the car than have to stay there again

Useful Somme battlefields location
Friendly and welcoming, convenient location for Somme battlefields access. Looks a bit tired from the outside and in reception, but the room was fine and clean. We had a ground floor room at the back which was very quiet.

A tale of two hotels. One a budget hotel with friendly staff and a reasonable restaurant. Our room was reasonable enough on first inspection but then the problems started. As the last room on the second floor (again no lift, this is France) the water did not run through hot. Quickly sorted a handyman came up and we had hot water. But then we realised the shower was broken and the plug didn't work in the sink. The shower got sorted by the handyman. Despite a lack of water pressure in the toilet and sink the shower worked really well once fixed. The toilet didn't flush properly and we were left without toilet paper by housekeeping! And finally, the leak in the corridor. It started out as a damp patch halfway along when we checked in. When we left the whole carpet sloshed for about 3 metres (our cases left tracks and we had to roll up our trousers to avoid the ends getting wet). But as I said, nice staff.

Good hotel for overnight stays.
Visiting the Somme Centenary Commemoration so Kyrian only half hour away. Friendly hotel but walls very thin so noisy neighbours can disturb. Rooms need a makeover. No dinner over the weekend. Food OK but not not outstanding.

Find somewhere else!
We would never stay here again. The room was tiny - we had to squeeze through a small gap to get through to the bathroom. There were no bedside tables, the bedside lamps didn't work, the wardrobe door didn't close, the carpets were absolutely filthy (not just in the room - but throughout the whole hotel), the car park was so muddy and full of potholes. We couldn't walk around the room in bare foot as whew didn't know what all the stains were from! Disgusting, just don't stay here! And the staff were miserable and not welcoming.

We picked this hotel as we have a dog and like to eat in the restaurant while leaving the dog in the room. On arrival told restaurant closed for dinner. Only option within walking distance supermarket cafeteria, no other hotels nearby either. Very disappointed

Cheap overnight stop - no frills needed
We just needed a cheap and cheerful stopover for a night on the way back up to Calais after a long drive. Initial view was fairly unnerving as it looks like a pretty shabby US motel from the outside. It's in the middle of a commercial park so massive hypermarche very close by, which was handy as no restaurants unless you go into town. The staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. The place needed a lick of paint but the facilities were clean and decent, nice shower, tea/coffee/tv, etc. so no complaints at all.

Not as advertised and hotels.com shares the blame
Hotels.com advertises this hotel as having 24 hour check in. When we arrived the hotel gate was locked (had to hop the fence) and the reception was closed. Nobody answers the phone (we tried calling well earlier also). We ended up needing to find another hotel late at night. Still waiting for a response den hotels.com on our complaint (7 days ago).
