I was a tourist from the US. This hotel was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. I needed to add an extra night to my stay and they were very helpful and accommodating. One of the staff workers, Nabil, was nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were big comfortable and the price was great. They offered transportation services as well if need be.

The hotel is clean, located near shops and restaurants, and has everything we needed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a great breakfast buffet as well. Highly recommend!

Found lots of hair on our bed, clearly was not changed Very poor breakfast - only a few items Rude restaurant manager One of the reception staff also quite pushy and rude Definitely not 4 star hotel - perhaps 3 star I left my luggage with them on last day, luggage was damaged/ cracked with force, I knew there was no point complaining, the receptionist will not care.

Dear Moyen,Thank you for staying with us,, we are sorry to hear that but let us also explain some points:1-You stayed with us 7 nights and you asked to change the apartment 3 times!!2- You said that you are Muslim, so morning breakfast is not fit for you because main meal for Muslims in Ramadan is on the sunset time, but: You came every morning and after your kids finish breakfast you collect the food for 4 persons and keep it in your room for 12 hours later to eat it on sunset time !!!! Actually this behavior is not Muslim or even Tourism behavior.. You could ask to book without morning breakfast. Thank you,,

We only stayed here 1 night, and it ended up only being for a few hours rest before we got up for our 430am flight but the property was great. The guy at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful, he set us up with a taxi to the airport at 2am, a wake up call to be sure we didn’t miss it and even help us print off a document we need to travel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s a little further out from the main area of Amman but it seemed like it wouldn’t be too far of a walk to get anywhere. It was a little noisy because of the location being so close to a mosque but it would be hard to find a quiet place to sleep in Amman haha. It was just what we needed and a pleasant stay

The location was great and the staff was excellent. The only thing was the property was a bit older than shown in the pictures. Other than that we had a great time. There are many places to walk to right next to the hotel. The front desk is always very helpful and there is always someone there. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

Terribly dissappointed with my stay. I booked this hotel only because it had a swimming pool. When i went they said pool is closed. They should put a note while booking that the pool is closed.

Great place for a family
The stay was comfortable with ample space for my 2 teenage children. Location is awesome and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The front staff are very responsive and helpful. I will highly recommend.

Shams was a good place to layover for the night coming back from Wadi Rum to fly back to the U.S. the next day. Cleanliness could have been a bit better. There was a faint scent of cigarette smoke in the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. I am very sensitive to smoke, so this was quite noticeable. We did not enjoy the continental breakfast in the morning, but it was enough for us to make it to the flight. Overall, we still would recommend Sham al Weibdeh for a night or two while you are laying over in Amman. The apartments are spacious, and clean enough.

In a great neighbourhood for cafes, restaurants & near to a great contemporary art gallery. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. Breakfast was great with good selection. Ask for a room on the front as they are much lighter with a big window.

Great place to stay, away from the noise. There are a couple local joints for food, etc down the street. The only thing i didn't like was my booking had breakfast included however they tried to charge me for it saying it wasn't included... However they waived it. Customer service is awesome at this place hands down.

Excellent apartment
Huge apartment in a good location, you could walk to Rainbow street within around 20 mins, the historical sites within around 40 mins. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. The pool is much smaller than it seems in the photographs, nevertheless, it was very refreshing in the summer heat. The area around the pool is well maintained with lots of shade and places to sit.

Comfortable apt hotel
It is a lovely apt hotel and the staff very friendly but they do not follow through guest's requests or maintenance issues. Example we only had 1 mug so asked for another, asked for coffee in room, asked for TV to be mended and non of these were followed through. On the upside they were happy to organise taxi for days out and to coach station, also breakfast was good and if you asked chef he would fry egg or omelette for breakfast

It was a clean hotel with a welcoming ambiance. The music in the lobby made it feel like a spa. The rooms were clean and everything was ready when we arrived. The breakfast was included, but disappointing. Seemed like a random assortment of food.

I had a great stay at the Shams. Very clean. In a safe location of town, next to a lot of shops and restaurants. The rooms were big especially the apartment rooms. Great place to stay in Amman

Great choice
Very accommodating staff and the space was extremely comfortable. We were only able to enjoy one night total but was so nice to have a living space and a kitchenette. The area is safe for women to walk around and overall it was a great experience. The hotel was communicative regarding transport via email on the site and we were taken care of nicely. Thank you!

We booked this place last minute, we needed a place to rest after a long day of traveling and before we made our way to Petra. We were looking for something super cheap but also clean and comfortable and we saw this new listing on Expedia and gave it a shot. The property was very clean, the room had everything you could need- a comfortably sized stylish space. Check-in was easy and the parking was free. I would recommend it

Great 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom apt for family.
Their service is great and very hospitable. We found out the rental has steering problem right before we head to airport. They took care of this issue with rental car company and find the shuttle right away. Great service.

Great neighborhood, spacious rooms!
We only stayed one night and since we arrived around dinnertime and had an early flight the next morning we didn't have much time to explore the neighborhood, but the hotel was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood with our two young children. Our room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette and dining area, a sitting area with TV, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Our bedrooms had a lovely view of the closest mosque. Parking was a bit tough with the SUV we rented, but we were happy to have a parking lot to park in so we didn't have to find a spot on the street! It was a short but very nice stay, and we'd definitely stay here again for a future (longer) trip to Amman! My only complaint is that the pillows were very thick. As a stomach sleeper I prefer flatter pillows, but that's just my personal preference. I used a couch pillow instead and it worked fine. A very minor "complaint" for an otherwise great stay!

Super séjour de 3 nuits dans cet appart-hôtel! Tout le personnel est accueillant et discret, Nabil est adorable. Super petit-déjeuner en terrasse au dernier étage. Bonne situation, un conseil, partir à pied pour découvrir Amman et revenir en taxi 2 dinars. Très bonne prise en charge pour retour à l'aéroport. (pour info possibilité location auto) Tout était parfait, on a terminé notre circuit en beauté

This hotel is ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. My apartment was fine bit I regrettes not to have if only a small table. The site indicates that laundry is possible, but only large family rooms have washing machines. The area is quiet though quite lively not far. Decent breakfast. Overall maybe a bit pricy?

Das Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer verfügen über eine gute Ausstattung mit kleiner Küche. Das Frühstück ist gut und abwechslungsreich. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.
