Attention
Very bad entrance, angry staff and you can not carry you luggage to your room because of steps. Please check all photos before booking We left hotel in first 5 minute and could not stay there

Great location just 5 minutes from Central Station. The building is old and has extremely steep steps. Not good for families with younger children or people with mobility issues.

for what I paid it wasn’t up to standard. Stayed for 3 days. Was only given a towel on day 1, requested a clean towel the second day was told I would be given one the following morning. Never received clean towels. Floor was dirty. Advertised as having own bathroom however bathroom wasn’t located in the room - photos were a bit deceiving. Bedroom light was broken and permanently stuck on. Only way to sleep with the light off was to disable power which meant we couldn’t charge phones, have aircon running or the tv. The location was good, walking distance to everything. Unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say.

In the Heart of it All
Location couldn't be better! A few minutes walk from Centraal train station, Metro, and Tram. As it is directly along the main corridor, there is street noise from pedestrians, vehicles, and rumbling of trams. It didn't bother us at all though, just a caution for those travelers who need quiet. Location is surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, small supermarkets, and stores. You walk out of the hotel directly into the energy of the city. It is not handicapped-friendly, only stairs (no lift observed).

During your check out you you said you had a pleasant stay (just a reminder).You had lost your items and said you left it in your room, while you didn’t. We checked your room, checked your trash and there was nothing and you still blamed the hotel for the thing you lost somewhere else. Surprisingly a very pleasant stay
Surprisingly an amazing stay. Damrak was a pleasure to stay in, a hidden gem in my opinion. Didn’t look like much from outside but upon arriving at the room, we was pleasantly surprised. We was lucky to stay in room 51 which had an unexpected balcony. Bathroom, sheets, floor, walls were too clean and too nice for the cost of the room. Very well deserving of this review. They also have a luggage room, what???!!! Unreal. Thanks Damrak Inn

Cutest little hotel - cozy for couples. A couple notes: our room was quite warm even with window open, can’t imagine how hot it would be in the summer; if you are planning to bring large luggage it will be a pain to get up the stairs. Overall, I loved our stay here and would recommend it to any couple looking for a quaint little stay!

An ok stay for the price paid. Rooms were clean but I can’t imagine staying here in the summer when it’s hot as in the fall we still needed to keep the windows open and the fan provided running.

Comfy but noisy
Room was really nice and the beds were comfy. However the windows let lot of noise in and it was extremely hard to sleep. Walls could do with some soundproofing as you could hear everything in the hotel. Great that free tea and coffee is provided, however, tea was never refilled all weekend while we were there. Would definitely stay there again m regardless.

Very good stay! Exactly what you pay for price wise. Down side is solo rooms are up 4 flights of stairs, and only a single pillow. I didn’t ask tbf and they asked multiple times if I needed anything so that’s on me. Staff were very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable of what to do

Terrible in every way. Dirty floors, hairs in the bed, no shower gel, people smoking on the ceiling of the building outside our room, there was a fight in the hotel at 3.10am and there was so much noise. The children were very scared and we spoke to the receptionist the next day and she didn’t say anything. Wouldn’t stay here ever again. It was terrible
