"Had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful and cozy apartment! It was in a perfect location, we were able to walk to restaurants and local pubs, but it was far enough away that we had peace and quiet as well. Sleep great, which was needed after a long travel day. It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The landlord was very kind, responsive and accommodating. I even forgot my headphones when checking out and he drove to the bus stop just to give them back to me, so...

It's also close to Dublin airport and a relatively easy connection to downtown Dublin with the DART train in Malahide. The owner went out if his way to make our stay comfortable and he welcomed us when we arrived"

"Absolutely loved my stay in this gorgeous clean house. The house is very modern and has all amenities you could need including two showers with great water pressure. The back garden gets lovely warm sun in the mornings which makes sitting in the kitchen a real treat. The train station is a five minute walk across the green and brought me straight into the city centre in 15/20 minutes. If you’re thinking of booking this place do as you won’t be disappointed!"

"Billy's cottage was a great place to stay during a five day trip to Dublin. It was as described and worked well for my friend and I. It is a little off the beaten path (cab drivers had trouble finding it), but a 20 minute walk takes you to the Luas, which is handy for getting around. If you like walking, you can walk right to the city center."

We also found that we were able to walk to most of the sites that we were looking to visit within Dublin, and the others were just a short Uber ride. "Excellent location on a quiet side street in a hip, but not touristy, neighborhood with good pubs and restaurants, and only about a 20 min. walk to the city centre. The townhouse has a kind of quirky charm, unlike any other vacation rental we've stayed in. Our only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower, which could be rectified by a shower head replacement. Our host Helen was kind enough to allow us an early check-in on our arrival, which was much appreciated."

The single electric heater in the living room wasn't enough to heat the entire house. "Amazing cottage and hosts! Great location for day trips. Coming back to the quiet of the cottage after a day of sightseeing was lovely. Plenty of room for 3 of us and amenities for the week. Unexpected extras were scones, bread, chocolate and wine waiting for us upon arrival. As well as some fridge items to start us off. Very kind and appreciated after a long flight. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!"
