"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. "

"Dirty linen, dirty water bottles, slippery deck when wet, tent requires a lot of internal cleaning. Overall the place presents well, but the owners need to consider that guests will leave a negative review if maintenance is left by the wayside."

"Wonderful out door experience. Well run by Saman. Very comfortable tent with adequate en suite shower etc. Dinner around the fire was straight out of the film Out of Africa. Very good red wine. Didn’t try the white and the food was excellent. The safari was well worth the early start with a stop for breakfast served in the safari jeep. We had a drive and guide from the camp and a guide from the park too. They are amazing at spotting the game. You need at least 2 nights and it is a wonderful...

"Overall a cool experience, we stayed in the sky nest. It is important to know that the road getting to resort is very very rough, essentially off-roading in a jeep, maybe even worse than safari. I wouldn’t recommend older adults or young children or anyone with a disability. The resort had kind staff, great evening bbq and early morning safari packed breakfast. "Love the idea of staying in a jungle camp, but this is really in an area of dry bushes, a total stretch to call it jungle. Food was amazing. Camp set up was nice. But very important to note that this is actually about 40km from the entrance to the park where you do the safaris. There are options much closer. It’s 30 minutes each way to and from the park, for 2 safaris that’s 2 hours of travel. Everyone was extremely nice but really wanted tips. For this star rating and the very high cost,...

"This place is really special, and 1 night is definitely not long enough. We arrived late in the afternoon to a warm welcome and a refreshing drink on the deck - the views are breathtaking. The lodges are so pretty, embroidered with the birds found on the reservoir with sequins and a skylight to the stars. Even the bath boasts the same mesmerising views. "The food menu was very disappointing especially when The Beige is isolated from town. Staff was warm and friendly however there should be training provided to them, it was mainly the communication, almost all staff were very weak in English. There should be a shuttle bus going to town because The Beige charges very exorbitant price to town, USD $20 per way for 25 mins ride-time. That means it is USD$40 for a return way!. I do love the tents are beautiful and very chic."
