Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. There is an amazing breakfast buffet.
There is a spa or cooking classes by the chef which need to be reserved in advance.
It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or surrounding towns. We also drove to the oldest winery in Sicily for a tour, tasting, and lunch.

"We spent 3 weeks here in 2023 at the end of September through mid-October and had the best time.The yard and pool are worth everything! The house is well located if you want to hit the road, as we often did, but tricky to find initially (save Esso Costa Saracena in your GPS). Great sandwich shop ..."
