Could do so much better
Hotel had lots of potential but sadly not realised. At check-in they wanted the paper "voucher" which we did not have as it was booked while "in transit" but eventually they linked our e-mail confirmation to their system so that they could print it out - all a bit of a faff in 21st century. The room was pleasant with a limited sea view from the balcony. On the first day there was a bottle of water supplied for tea/coffee making but this was not replenished on the second day. A water mark left by a glass on the desk surface wasn't cleaned away, yet I was able to remove it with a tissue and some water! The food at the evening buffet was plentiful and choice was good but everything that should have been hot was lukewarm at best which detracted from the experience and the staff in the restaurant good benefit from some "charm schooling". Breakfast could have been very good but again eggs, omelettes, pancakes were cooked in batches and left to go cold - no wonder there is a microwave in the buffet area - it may have originally been for reheating baby food but sadly it was the only way to make the food palatable. A fire alarm went off one afternoon while we were there and when we reported to reception and asked if it was a drill the receptionist just smiled saying "I know the alarm is ringing!" We stayed in the low season and most other guests seemed to be on golfing breaks, but the hotel itself could do so much better as the facilities are there but service needs improving.

The Hotel is in a very good position close to the beach in Isla Canela. We had a superior room on the 4th floor with a good view of the sea. The room size was ok but not spacious as was the balcony, however it was very clean. Room facilities for a 4 star hotel were poor - no dressing gowns, no hotel information folder, soap shampoo etc in wall dispensers and little else. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice, we didn't have dinner at the hotel as we prefer to eat at local restaurants as it is usually better and less expensive than hotel buffets. There is an Italian restuarant in the hotel but no other choice. Bar drinks were reasonably priced but service was very slow at times. The pool and outside areas are nice and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt that one week was long enough.

Re-visited
Our seventh visit to The Melia Atlantico - it didn't disappoint but not sure what 'The Level' is trying to provide other than a them and us situation. A great place for a holiday if you aren't expecting lots of shops and entertainment. Fabulous beach which is never crowded. Some good bars and restaurants around the marina and short bus ride to Ayamont. Worth a visit.

Staff very friendly was given an upgrade to seaview room . Lovely room well equipped Very good breakfast serving cava in the morning plenty of sun loungers very friendly staff lots of activities to join do yoga Pilates etc. Good food in the restaurant though a bit chaotic and canteen like . My favourite hotel and place
Our second stay in the hotel. It was just as lovely as we remembered. The food was good and there are lots of restaurants and bars within a five minute walk. The beach was to be seen to be believed. It is the most relaxing, beautiful place. We will definitely be back.

Pretty Hotel but Bad Service
Hotel is nice and activities for all ages. Hotel Staff are not very helpful and slow service. Only one restaurant other than the buffet and it's the same menu as room service. Prepare to disconnect cause Wifi is terrible and cell coverage is low. Better options in nearby islands.

Very good hotel
We stayed there for a week in mid September 2016 on an all inclusive basis. We chose to pay extra for a premium room and were very glad, for the interesting view from the balcony towards Isla Cristina. The staff were all very hard working, efficient, helpful and friendly. There was always a good selection available on the buffet, whatever time we ate. There are a few local bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel if you fancy a change of environment from time to time.

Nice pool, by the ocean but very noisy and busy! Only one place to eat which look like a cafeteria! There must be better place to spend your money in the area!

We travelled down to meet friends who were on a Thomson holiday .we live in Spain and it was a 4 hour journey but was worth it. Staff were welcoming , hotel was lovely x

Ideal beach front location
The hotel is situated on the tip of Isla Canela within a short walk from a really picturesque beach and harbour entrance. The hotel itself is modern with excellent amentities and generally, very pleasant, efficient staff. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. One criticism would be the cost of wi-fi access, which at 14 euros per day, is from my experience of other hotels of this standard, usually must cheaper or made available free to guests.

el buffet decepcionante no estĆ” a la altura de la marca Melia y menos teniendo en cuenta lo que se paga. La calidad y presentacion de los alimentos es muy mejorable. Todo el hotel necesita una buena remodelaciĆ³n mobiliario en general,las hamacas de la playa viejĆ­simas y ademĆ”s te cobran diez euros por usarlas. La falta de personal en el buffet a pesar del esfuerzo de los camareros que no paran ,es la consecuencia de que las mesas estĆ©n sin recoger y todo sucio. Estuvimos tres dias y cada dĆ­a pasaba lo mismo. Las camas estĆ”n bien. Lo que llaman spa es solo una pequeƱa piscina sin ningĆŗn chorro ni nada. Al menos estĆ” incluido en el precio. Nos hemos ido muy decepcionados!!

El personal de entretenimiento es lo.mejor del hotel. Es el alma. Los bailarines fantĆ”sticos. NoemĆ­ la mejor de todos. Son todos encantadores.Cuidan a los niƱos con mucha dulzura . La comida excelente. Calidad. Variedad. Casi dirĆ­a que inmejorable. Lo peor el colchĆ³n del sofĆ” cama casi sacado de un contenedor. Duro. Delgado. Pero en cuanto lo expuse se me cambiĆ³ y despuĆ©s excelente. Otro detalle feo nos doblaron las toallas que estaban sucias en el suelo y las colocaron de nuevo en su estante. Un hotel para repetir
Hotel fabuloso con servicios de un 5 estrellas. Comida bufet muy bueno. Personal atento y servicial en general. Instalaciones muy comodas y buenas. Quizas la habitacion un poco anticuada y pequeƱa para 4 pero es comoda. Lo peor que podria destacar es que la playa estaba bastante sucia al menos los dias que fuimos y el wifi funcionaba bastante lento.

Mala informaciĆ³n
ƍbamos con un bebe de 7 meses y llame a la recepciĆ³n para preguntar si tendĆ­an potitos para ellos y me dijeron que si que habĆ­a un bufet solo de potitos todos los dĆ­as, cuando llegamos al hotel no habia nada de nada de potitos, solo cremas y sopas de verdura pero cocinados con sal y aceite. Menos mal que yo llevĆ© mis purĆ©s por si las moscas. No me quejo de que no tuvieran bufet de potitos, si no de la mala informaciĆ³n recibida El camino del hotel a la playa, que era por un puente de madera, habĆ­a avispas que picaron a varios huĆ©spedes varĆ­as veces. Nuestro buffet dispone de un caldero con cremas especiales cocinadas como los potitos para los bebes que se encuentren alojados. Este servicio es gratuito para las familias que vienen en media pensiĆ³n y son servidos en nuestro buffet de medio dĆ­a. Dichas cremas estĆ”n realizadas con verduras, carnes o pescados adaptados a bebes. ademĆ”s de ser bajo en sal y aceites. Bien situado,buenas instalaciones.
Mi intencion era pasear por una plya bonita, tranquila en invierno y disfrutar de los arroces y pescados de la zona, y descansar en un buen hotel.

Relax ,tranquilidad y descanso
Nuestra estancias ha sido agradable y tranquila el grupo de animadores simpƔticos y pendientes de los clientes y hacen un gran trabajo en general los empleados muy amables y hemos estado muy bien , seguramente repita .
