The location and views are great. You can take transit to get down into the heart of Banff or take a bit of a walk down. My only complaint is the noise from construction, but i understand hotel upgrades are necessary.

Even though the property is quite old, it is very cute with lots of character. A little maintenance would be nice but the important stuff was great. (Nice bathroom, beds were comfy, everything clean and tidy.) Would love to have had a little table and less rickety chairs on the balcony but love that we could sit out there with our dog. Smart TV with access to Netflix would be nice to have. Oh, and ice trays please! We stayed in one of the three pet friendly mountain cabins and will definitely be back.

The condition of the room is very dated and was not clean. They are renovating, which is clearly needs. The prices reflected should be after a renovation, not prior to. A thorough clean is expected upon check in, this was not the case. Very dusty and smelly old carpets. Poor curtains so lots of light when trying to sleep.

Nice interiors. Rooms are quite warm, would be concerned in the summer! Ongoing exterior upgrades look good, interiors are in great condition. Pool is fine but small, change rooms are a bit of a dungeon. Don't stay for the extra amenities, stay for quieter location and nearby to Tunnel Mountain. Transit pass is great.

Room was fabulous and would stay again. Loved the kitchenette and was super clean. There was construction but not on the weekend we stayed so not an issue. Only thing we didnt like was the pools. Hot tub was not working wich we werent told. And the pool was freezing. Otherwise was great for our family

The property is very clean and well taken care of. Currently under slight renovations, these renovations did not affect our stay. The property offers complimentary shuttle service and it was easy to use and navigate. This is especially useful for families with small childrens. Despite the cold the playground was well maintained and utilized by guests. We truly enjoyed our stay and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We would stay here again.

The room smelled of old smoke . We are non smokers . No bathroom fan , but states with new renovation is central . Major exterior renovations throughout resort . Staff were awesome check in . Indoor pool was cool 1 vent functioning, asked for pool towels was right there . The steam room non functional. $$ was expensive, but comparable to other properties . Would stay again , staff are great

We were not made aware of the construction that would be going on from sun up until sun down. No chance for sleeping in or napping at the hotel after a long day out. Inside the room the cutting board smelt like it was rotting and the room smelled strongly of wood smoke. Limited parking spots because of construction. The loud and obnoxious music the workers were playing was not family friendly. When we asked about a discount on the room we were told that because we booked through Expedia they couldn’t do anything. They told us we could get a discount on future stays but we are not inclined to return to stay there again. Very disappointed.

Our room was really great - high ceiling, bright, great layout. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs, had everything we needed. The bathroom looked brand new, loved the big walk-in shower and the long counter top. The view from our room was amazing. We parked right in front of our door, very convenient. The only negatives were the sauna and steam room, too long to warm up and never got hot enough.

Always enjoy our stay here. There was construction happening at the time of our stay which made the overall appearance slightly messy. It will look nice once complete however. Staff are awesome. Only suggestions for the rooms- some coat hooks in the entry, bedrooms and bathrooms would be handy.

When we pulled the sheets back to sleep, one bed had blood stains on it. The room had a refrigerator that was so loud it kept me up most of the night and we were next to the elevator and the call bell for it was so loud and going off all night. I spent $300 for dirty sheets and no sleep. Do not recommend at all. Staff were friendly at least.

Our room was excellent! Better than expected. Very clean and comfortable. They are in the process of updating some of the buildings and where we stayed was great. The pool is old and the sauna and steam rooms are old and smelly. If you aren’t looking for a pool or sauna/steam room this is currently a great place to stay. We will book here again!

The room and amenities were all great! The only thing we didn’t like is the area of our room has renovation going on and we were not told about it and given a heads up. We had to drive thru the area and ended up getting a nail on one of our tires. We were lucky that we found an available shop near by.
