This is my second review of the Platinum Suite, after my second stay. Unfortunately, although the hotel is generally a comfortable and cosy place to stay, I have some complaints:
1) Having stayed in two different rooms at the Platinum Suite, I can now attest that the air con units have been consistently weak. The two units I have used omit only a light breeze, even when switched to 18 degrees and put on full fan mode. In a hot country such as Thailand, the air con really needs to be a bit more powerful.
2) The housekeepers provide every room with a kettle, but only give you tea and coffee on the day you check-in. Thereafter, you have to fend yourself. In my view, this seems to be a penny-pinching swindle, since it's only a few sachets of tea and coffee that I'm asking for, and the housekeepers have got piles of it on their trolley. I've seen it with my own beady eyes!
Despite these gripe, however, I must emphasise that the staff at Platinum suite are all delightfully pleasant (even their tea and coffee system is a bit ridiculous).
