Great place to stay. Very close to shopping, restaurants, the Cathedral and the Mercado. Access to the metro was very easy.

Location! Location! Location! Close to Plaça de Catalunya, (which is a major hub; the double decker buses start here). Also next door to La Rambla, the quaint streets of the Gothic quarter, great restaurants and night life. The room is also nicely appointed - comfortable beds, blackout shades, very nice bathroom, ample storage space, safe. No USB ports, so make sure to bring plugs and converters. The breakfast is good - buffet style with lots of variety (meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal) and they make-to-order anything additional. When I make it back to Barcelona (I loved it here), I’d definitely stay here again!

Very well located. Excellent introduction to our room during which we were shown how the TV, AC, etc worked. The cleaning staff came in twice a day and did a turn down service leaving a chocolate. Good breakfast

We had a wonderful week at the property, great location to shops and restaurants. Every staff member we met was friendly with an enthusiastic attitude. The one thing the I would not score an Excellent would be because of the area that never stops the noise comes right into your room when trying to sleep.

This place was beautiful but currently has a horrible smell in the lobby. The hotel overall was great, but do have to mention that my wife and I were told by a phone call that we were being to noisy (from our room next door) when we were only have a conversation at a low normal level. It was very weird as we normally are very quiet people and rarely talk loud or on phones in hotels like this. Just simply pointing out that the walls are thin.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Right in the Ciutat Vella (old city). Walkable to great restaurants, shopping and many sites. The staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, especially Alex at the front seat who worked tirelessly to recommend restaurants to expand our experience as well as providing small comforts during our stay. Tino at the bar was also helpful to us. We would definitely come back again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would most definitely stay there again. The staff were all very welcoming and are all very approachable if needed anything at all. The facilities were spotless and I loved the night time sweet that would appear by your bed in the evening. They offer a great breakfast and the hotel is in a prime position making everything accessible. (two nights are not enough if want to explore everything but it was an enough to get a good taster of Barcelona).

My new Place To Stay in Barcelona.
The hotel is located in a great area. Easy access to a huge amount of restaurants and shopping. Fast access to public transportation/taxis. Front desk staff was great. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast is NOT what we American's are expecting. A huge selection of items/drinks and all very fresh.

I can't imagine a better experience anywhere. Because a better room was available at the time, they upgraded us. The breakfast buffet was included and was amazing! Staff were terrific. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Barcelona.

A great hotel to stay
A excellent hotel with warm welcoming and friendly staff. The location was excellent for us, a maximum of 25 min walk to everything we wanted to see and do. Hotel staff gave great recommendations for places to go, visit, eat and drink. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent as well.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I have been to Barcelona several times, and this hotel was my favorite. The staff were so welcoming and really made us feel at home. Nice area to stroll around at night with many restaurants and shops. Rooms weren't large, but clean and comfortable. I was worried it would be loud at night because it is located ina busy area, however, this was not an issue. I hope to return again soon!

I wish we could it stay longer at this hotel. We were just there for 1 night. The location is great close to all the shopping and walkable to all sightseeing sites. It is very clean and the staff is very attentive. While we were out that night the hotel staff came to our room and open our beds and left chocolate next to the bed. That was a very nice touch of them. I will definitely recommend to stay here.
