"We had wonderful time in Valley of Rocks hotel. Each and every staffs were very friendly. The hotel situated in well located place so it's easier to explore by foot. We both had an amazing time and will certainly go again. "

"Strange checkin process, reception is at the Hub not in the Hotel, I may have missed communication on this but a lot of walking about just to check in Car chargers need bettering, current type have no instructions and no staff (5 of them) knew how they worked or more importantly released the cable!"

"Absolutely gob-smacked when we arrived at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was fantastic and totally unexpected. Staff were lovely, ambience great and it was just so welcoming. It was a fairly last minute booking, a one night stay and I hadn't really taken much notice of reviews etc. Great regret that I hadn't packed my swim-wear as the pools looked so enticing. Our room was so comfortable, such a shame that we couldn't spend longer there. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and we will definitely make a point of returning to Barnstaple and spending a few days at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was a holiday in itself."

"Beautiful hotel which maintains its original charm yet has all the modern conveniences. Luxurious room with amazing bathroom. Coach house restaurant is lovely and breakfast was top drawer. Staff could not have been more helpful. A lovely stay and will definitely be back. "
