It was a very disappointing experience hosting Carl at Lawnbrook Townhouse. He booked and cancelled 8 times due to insufficient funds, causing a lot of stress and inconvenience to our team. On arrival they had booked the small double room and complained that it was too small for them and got a free upgrade to a standard double room. They then proceeded to enter other rooms that were prepared for other guests and help themselves to towels and pillows. We had to conduct all correspondence via the booking system as he was causing problems and we needed to keep a record of everything. Eventually he requested an early departure and a refund, even though he had booked a non-refundable rate, which we granted. We believe in treating our guests with respect, and we expect our guests to do the same with us. Based on this experience we are unable to recommend Carl to any host in the future.
