Great experience, the property is a short walk uphill walk from the old part of town. The area has lots of interesting bars and shops. We enjoyed the [provision of breakfast in the hotel. The room was comfortable clean and well presented. The staff were particularly helpful when it was discovered that my teenager had left items of jewelry in the room. Ensuring they were returned to us

Residenza del Borgo is in a quiet and close to stores. The room was clean and spacious. Shower has good pressure. Beddings were comfortable. The fridge was well stock up. Helpful staff and good communication with Stefano and Carolin. They also called a taxi for us to the airport. Overall excellent experience, will recommend to our friends.

Comfortable apartment. Some distance from station. Well equipped with breakfast delivered to room. Only able to stay one night but seems to be in a nice area with plenty of options for eating out.

Room was spacious. Friendly staff and helpful. Unfortunately nearby restaurants were closed on a Tuesday. But we did go to Borghetto and had wonderful pizza and wine , walkable from the Residenza. Breakfast was served in the room with meat, juice, yogurt, cheese, croissants. Parking was private, next to hotel for a small fee but was very convenient.

Bergamo - Need Self Check-In
Only place to stay in Bergamo. It took us 3 1/2 hours to get out of the airport / taxi as so many flights arriving at night and not enough staff to process. Cabs as night very limited. Hence as hotel is self-check-in we had a place to stay. At immigration people were yelling, pushed together, staff had to offer water, didn't matter if you had children, infant or were pregnant. Lady in front of us her reception closed so she has to waiting at airport until it opened. The self-check-in allows that you will have a bed for the night especially if you are arriving late at night. Ryanair we counted approx 10 flights at same time plus ours and the airport just cannot cope.

Quite far from the town center, the room is very dark, no staff on hand, there was a note in the room that if we use any cups for coffee we will have to wash them afterwords or they will charge us 10 euro

We thank you for your review, but we would like to clarify a couple of points. The rooms all have at least two windows and the bathrooms also have windows, so we don't understand why they are dark, maybe it was a cloudy day?? The structure is located in a village in the city center, right next to the academy of arts in the area of bars and restaurants ... it is not true that if you use the cups you have to wash them, everything that is breakfast is washed by us as explained in the note, it also says that if you want to cook, the pots for your dinner have to be washed by you, otherwise we can do it for a little extra.Just to be clear.

It was great, very comfy room for a family, good automated check in process, good location, parking and great aurprise with the breakfast (apart from what you have in the room (juice, cofee, cold cuts,cookies) they leave in the basket outaise the room croissants and fresh bread). Did not use the kitchen but also one available

Amazing stay
The apartments were spacious, modern and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was a nice 20 minute walk to the old town. We had dietary issues as my daughter has crohn's disease and the staff arranged a suitable breakfast for her, even ordering special bread for her which was delicious. We will be coming again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Staff we're very kind. Checking into the hotel was an easy and swift process. All rooms were comfortable and within 15 mins walking to the city centre. Overall a very nice stay !

This was my second visit and the hotel continues to impress me especially the friendly staff and personal service. The rooms are well equipped with a kitchen and everything you would need to self cater. I like the in room breakfast and the lovely fresh baked goods delivered each morning. There is no dining room in the property and breakfast is continental. There are lots of good cheap cafes in the street if you need more. The location is in a lovely safe residential area of the city and its not touristy and feels like experiencing the local community. Its a short walk to the city walls and Academia Carrera. A bus stop is outside the hotel and its a cheap 5 minute ride to the city centre.

This hotel is more like having an apartment and that suited us perfectly. I stay in hotels 4 days a week so it was nice to have something that was designed a little bit more for making some meals yourself. Hotel has recently been refurbished, it was really clean, smart & modern. Roberta (employee) was very helpful & thorough at checkin and was keen to help with any advice. Location is good, only a short walk from lower city and Città Alta and very close to the football stadium. We would definitely use this hotel in the future if we decide to revisit Bergamo (which is beautiful)

Very well located apart hotel in a lively street. The room was suitable for our family although initially there was some confusion over policies which was resolved to my satisfaction. The bunk bed provided for kids was not secured but was fixed on request. The overall quality of the room was high but I found the shower a little cramped. The in room breakfast was good for the flexibility it offered however the croissants served were not very good and you cant just pick up more bread like in a normal buffet. The staff was courteous and willing to help. I would not hesitate to book this place again.

The hotel is modern and comfortable - a recent renovation of an old building in a safe residential part of the city. There are bars, cafes and shops nearby. Buses to the city centre pass stop outside, or walk there in 20 minutes. The staff were friendly and very helpful and i was taken to my room and how everything worked explained to me in person. The room had a mini kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, fridge and all utensils. Breakfast is taken in the room with bread delivered each morning and everything else left in the fridge. The air con was quiet and efficient. There was a smart TV but only Italian channels.

This property is super clean with the nicest room and bathroom/shower that we have enjoyed in Italy. A fresh baked of baked goods each morning delivered to your door along with a complimentary minibar made for excellent breakfast each day.
