A really lovely city, friendly people and very easy to get around.Great selection of places to eat and drink, albeit expensive.
Lots to see and do but not through Ibis there must be better places to stay whilst visiting Bern.
Just a really pleasant place to spend a little time. I only say a little time because to us Brits , Switzerland is an expensive place - unless you are careful!
Take time to walk around the old city of Bern - it is located just over the bridge from the hotel. It’s small and hemmed in on both sides by the Aare river which makes exploring on foot easy. The medieval buildings and arcades are charming.
Lots to see. Friendly people on the whole. Lots of eating options and plenty of entertainment. The river is beautiful.
