27 Jan 2020It waa a Sunday so shops weren't open. Unfortunately since my last visit Blaenau Ffestiniog has lost a lot of their businesses. Fantastic area for the slate minea and railway though

"Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Pisgah Guesthouse which just what I needed for a weekend of exploration. Nice weekend break
"Nice old hotel, a little dated but clean and food was good, was woken up in the early hours by the sound of shattering glass as if the window had been broken but nothing was amiss which was a little creepy"

"Arrived later than expected. Could have done with map to know where our log cabin was, but after driving round for while, saw some people who had map and found it then. Really pleased with property and will come again"

"We had a lovely comfortable stay for a week in the cabin. Nice and warm with plenty of heaters to use if you needed to. The decking area was nice and enclosed so our little dog was secure,there’s also an off lead dog walking area on the site which is very pretty with a little brook running through ..."

27 Oct 2019Utterly captivating and beautiful, every new turn was a wow moment, I've never been anywhere quite like it. The high street is struggling as all are through the country but the people are so friendly and the place is stunning.

15 Sep 2019It's a quiet town, built for slate miners back in the day.The terminus for the Ffestiniog railway, travel on this is a must !! The Llechwedd slate mine in 20 mins walk out of the town.
