I was impressed, being an older property and considering all the new ones that were built near it. The check-in was great and the staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also the first time that we could swim in the outdoor pool and not freeze to death. They had the water temperature just perfect. The breakfast was very good and had a selection of hot and cold food unlike other hotels that I have been in.

Hotel is located near University and not far from downtown. Parking was very limited and many cars needed to be parked in an adjacent parking lot. I left later in the evening and when I returned I also need to park on adjacent lot. The area had limited lighting and I was a little unsure about parking my car in this area for safety reasons. I noticed a couple of larger UHaul and Bus that were occupying a larger area of what could have been common parking for guests. Some areas of parking lot were blocked off due to repair/ storage. The rest of the property was nice including lobby, breakfast area, common areas and rooms. I usually don't stay at Holiday inn properties so I am not sure if this property is standard for condition and amenities. I did not use the pool or hot tub. My room was comfortable and quiet. I was traveling for work and the desk area, outlets and Wi-Fi worked for my needs. Bathroom was roomy, towels were soft. My only comment is that I am not a fan of synthetic bedding, which was a polyester blend of some sort. While the bed was comfortable and pillows adequate. I woke up several times in a full on sweat.

The staff here were friendly and helpful, answering questions clearly. I checked in on a very busy Friday night, yet everyone there was calm and collected and seemed genuinely glad to be greeting us all. We were attending an event at the arena on campus and this hotel was in a great location. The walk from the hotel to the arena was very pleasant using the walking path along the River. We look forward to staying here again in the future! Great experience all around!

Liked that there were different options for pillows. Room was very warm. Hot tub nice. Breakfast was better than most hotel continental breakfasts. Lobby area was large and inviting. Liked that there was an area where info of surrounding area was available- employee recommendations of restaurants posted in the elevator was a good idea!

We had a problem in our room. The TV/Remote didn't work and the heat/ac unit didn't work. However the staff were excellent and provided us with a new room near the original room and everything worked there.

Good stay
My stay was good the hotel was very clean downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable. The biggest thing that stuck out was how much room they offer to work with many areas for small groups to work or individuals.

Nice place!
The hotel was very nice. We stayed in the handicap accessible room on the first floor. Room was very comfortable, quiet and the bathroom was what we needed…walk in shower with detachable shower wand, handrails all around shower as well as the toilet! Bed was nice. Only con was no upholstered chair just one desk roller chair…which we ended requesting another desk chair. It is kind a difficult for handicap ones to sit on the bed to get dressed or watch tv without a chair and if 2 stay in the room it would be nice to have 2 chairs. The hotel staff was wonderful in bringing the extra chair. Breakfast was amazing…nice choices…egg omelets, potatoes, pork sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy. Cereals, assortment of breads, cinnamon rolls, juices, coffee and teas. Would recommend to stay!
