Pleasant guest house
Easier to find than I thought and Mario was easy to get in touch with prior to arrival. Room felt safe and secure. Bed was comfy and the fridge was useful. Shared bathrooms but always clean and always at least one available. Pleasant homely feel despite being obviously in the middle of the city. Would recommend for a short stay.

Ok, i was confused. I thought this was a hotel. Its not When i got to the propery it says B&B. Its not because its a basic room only. Good location close to railway station and town center. Located on a very busy road so even with the windows closed its noisy, which I didnt like. Owner is helpful and made cappuchino which was very nice. Bathroom was shared but kept spotless.

This isn't a regular hotel but a group of rooms on the 7th floor of a building, with 2 shared bathrooms and a lounge. My room was large, included a fridge, and was nice enough. Marco, the proprietor, was friendly and let me leave bags there on the departure day. The location was good -- walking distance from the train station and fairly close to the historical centre. Overall, fully satisfactory and good value (as long as one doesn't require a private bath).

Great value and location
I thought the location was perfect to navigating Bologna and great recommendations from the owner. It was noisy at night with traffic and locals outside. Overall a really nice stay

Overall the property is in a good condition , small elevator , breakfast was quiet enough to gain some energy before a morning activity , bathroom is clean and shared among the other rooms ( more than one bathroom ) , Mario was nice and helpful , The property is 10 minutes walk from Bologna train station and Piazza Maggiore , There is a super market just down the property ( pam )

Mario was great, very friendly and welcoming. The B&B is in a brilliant location, a short walk from the train station and is right in the Center of Bologna as the name says. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Bologna

Great location at a reasonable price
Very comfortable apartment with large spacious rooms and very clean communal bathrooms. For us one improvement would be a hot breakfast of fresh food, rather than packaged croissants. But we had a very nice stay at this place!

Good place for a quick overnight in Bologna
Bologna Center is a great place to stay for a quick stop in the city. Located directly between the city center and the central train station, it is perfect for a stopover with quick access to further travel by train or to the airport. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are large in an old building in a good neighborhood. The only downside was that you can hear quite easily between the different rooms, and through the sliding door (it is an older building, so to be expected). Otherwise, can be recommended for a stay in the great city of Bologna!

Not so great for the price charged
The host was very welcoming but the room was very basic, furthermore since the building was historical the sound insolation in the windows was non-existing. I didn't get to sleep at all. You could hear street and people all the way up to 3am which is most unpleasant. Shared bathrooms were clean but there was no water pressure in the shower. Dropping show is not what you want at the end of the day.

Dear Customer, thank you for the review, unfortunately if you choose a hotel in the city center you need to be aware that you are in the city center. And anyway it is the first time that someone tells us that the noises are so loud. As for water and pressure, it's really uncomfortable to have a lot of pressure. Thank you

No kitchen access, "difficult" for request for wine glasses, etc. Staff are a little peculiar. Room and bathrooms are fantastic. Location is very good.

Nice b&b, no heating
This b&b is located in a renovated apartment, rooms and bathrooms(shared) are nice. You get the breakfast brought into your room and it's nothing special, but ok. Its located about 10 mins on food from the train station and the main square, good location. It was not a good stay, however. We were staying there in october and the heating of the building was not working, they have no other way of heating and the windows are terribly isolated. Therefore, there were about 15•C in the room, which made it really unconfortable to spend any time there. Extra blanket was provided though, so sleeping was not that bad, apart from the rather loud traffic (bad isolation again). I'm sorry I had to write this, because it could have been a great place to stay, but due to low temperatures it really wasn't.

Unfortunately, the regulations of the city provide for the opening of the heating in November and not in October, but you were the only ones in many years to complain about the cold in October

Food coma in Bologna
Mario is a friendly and informative host. Nice to have breakfast brought to the room. Shared bathroom, but not a problem. An easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the city. Did a terrific "Taste of Local Food" with Alessandro arranged through the tourist bureau, Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, prosciutto tastings and then a wonderful lunch that went until 4pm.

We were warmly greeted. Two bathrooms were in the hall, newly appointed and very clean. Breakfast was brought to us in our room. Despite the traffic outside, the room was pretty quiet. The bed was comfortable. We had only one suitcase so the ride up to the sixth floor in the small elevator was not a problem. The locale was two stops from the train station---walkable without suitcases at a leisurely pace.

Very nice place for a couple of days visiting
Nice place to stay a couple of days in Bologna. Very clean bathrooms so don't be put off by the fact that bath is shared with the other guests, it's clearly not a problem at all. Location is great and there's a big supermarket in the same building pretty much, also walking distance from the train station. Perhaps the breakfast needs some hot food in it or at least something that does not contain sugar, but other than that all went well

Comfort in the center of the city
Stayed two nights in Feb. 2016. Mario was a great host and made us welcome while also letting us be. The included breakfast is simple--breads, jams, juice, yogurt and coffee--but perfect for heading out on the town. The shared bathrooms are quite nice and we never had to wait for other guests. It's 10-15 minutes walking to all of the city's sights, but far enough away that it's quiet in the evenings. The grocery store on the corner is great if you just want a night in. Ask Mario for a restaurant tip... He led us to a great small ristorante that ended up being our best meal during our 9 days in Italy.

Not a normal hotel but fine for a short stay
Quite good location near the main sightseeing areas and not too far from the station. The hotel room is more like a rented room in someone's penthouse, with a shared bathroom. The manager (owner) was very nice and helpful, but the experience will be a little unusual if you are use to just hotels. For me, it was good for a single night stay before my flight.
Lei ha scelto un bed and breakfast, e le caratteristiche peculiari del b&b sono proprio queste, particolarità di sentirsi a casa.

Perfect pad
We loved staying at this B&B. It's like staying at someone's gigantic private apartment - the rooms are super spacey, bathroom amenities are nice, and the breakfast is served in your room! :) The location was perfectly convenient to get to anywhere - we'd come back here next time we visit Bologna. :)

Best deal in town.
Clean, well located, and afordable. About a 10 minute walk to Piaza Maggiore and the historic town center. Room are simple but large and clean. Two spotless bathrooms shared among the 5 rooms. Mario is a great guy with lots of information.

Where to Stay in Bologna
Good price, comfortable accommodation with breakfast and convenient location within walking distance of Bologna Centrale. Just wish that my travel plans had allowed to stay longer.

Excellent hotel if you can find it
We loved our stay in bologna center town. The only problem and we thought it was a terrible problem was finding the hotel. We found the street found the number but could not figure out where the hotel was. The number was for an apartment building there was no sign for the hotel there was no apartment or floor number in the hotel description of our reservation. We even investigated the names of the tenant list to see if it was on there and we could buzz them as the door was closed and locked. Nothing. We finally had to call and find out it was on the 7th floor. As I said, we enjoyed our stay. We tried many of the local recommendations from our map but our experience finding the place was a lot more stressful than it should've been.

Bologna Center Town
This small bed and breakfast is on the 7th floor of a large office or apartment building which is a little weird, but when you walk inside, there is a nice hallway that leads to the rooms and two shared bathrooms. Everything is brand new- the bathrooms and bedrooms, and everything was extremely clean. It was really nice to receive breakfast as well: it consisted of espresso, yogurt, biscuits, toast, cookies, croissants, jam, and nutella. The owner was nice and gave us a map, guidebook, and suggestions for our time. It was convenient to the center of Bologna, about a 10 minute walk from the center. Nearby there is a large supermarket. Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Mi sono trovato davvero bene. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere velocemente diversi punti chiave della città (Centro Storico, Stazione Centrale, mercati etc) e host davvero cordiale e disponibile. Pulizia di camere e bagni (2 in comune) impeccabile; ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

7th floor in the City
OK, I came by car and expected a parking lot which wasn't available unless walking 10 min with my luggage. It is a friendly place looking more like Bead and Breakfast than a hotel. Central and friendly service but don't expect hotel services.
