Small but clean room. Check in was easy; nice front desk staff. Nice location. Very noisy! Music all hours of the night, every little noise from adjoining rooms and hallway could be heard. Sheets did not fit the bed and kept coming up, making it very uncomfortable. I asked for a blanket but none could be found. No Netflix on the tv. Shower was very hot and lovely; water and ice in hall a nice touch. Sonder is fine but the lack of a blanket, terrible bedding and noise means I would not stay at this location again.

This is a popular neighborhood with a buzzing nightlife, and we feel awful about it disrupting your stay. We were unable to relocate you as we were fully booked, but please reach out to us before your next stay, and we will provide complimentary earplugs and a white noise machine. We're sorry for the trouble with the bedding. This property has Chromecast, so you can stream things like Netflix from your devices. We hope to show you a more seamless visit next time.

I had a two-night stay at the hotel. I planned to work from hotel, but the internet went out and well as cable the first night (Friday 1AM) I was there, and the internet was never restored. As result, I had to go to coffee shops and McDonald's to conduct limited work due to privacy. In addition, I had schoolwork which I could not do when I needed to do it. There was never an update on the status from anyone in the hotel. In these times, internet is a staple for travelers. There should a partial refund for the lack of communication on the situation which caused inconvenience for customers staying there those nights.

Sonder does NOT have parking. They requested to check in by sending them cc and driver's license process and they send you a code. This was done as part of securing the room and they mail you a code... essentially they strive on having no personal touch and minimizing human contact. Not a big fan of this type of experience.

It definitely felt safe. I liked that you could ask a question when you needed something, and usually quite resourceful. What I didn't like as much was the information on how to get new towels. I stayed for a week, and there were supposed to be towels on the 2nd, third and 4th floors, in the essentials closet, but there were never any. I had to hunt them down from the cleaning staff, and they had to find a full set on the various different floors, so it took some time. If you are staying for a week, you should have complimentary towels, half way in. You should also have at least one complimentary cleaning during that time frame, not have to pay for it, if you want it. You should also have someone come in a take out the garbage/recycling once in that time frame, not have to be responsbile for it yourself. The bags don't fit in the various compartments for garbage and recycling even with putting a knot in the bag to make it smaller. The bathroom door kept closing on us, and the only way to stop it, was to bunch up a towel. We also had a fire alarm during one of the nights around midnight - it would be good to acknowledge it with an email the next day. So overall, it was an average stay, and the staff seemed helpful and friendly.

They are located in Cambridge, good quality of restaurants for students and travelers and really safe. It's good to see the village style of the harvard side and tech facilities style of MIT sides. There is nothing bad side of hotel specifically.

My recent stay at Sonder Main in Cambridge was nothing short of exceptional. This is a good find! Very cozy place and kept clean around. I took star out as they don’t clean the room or set the bed at all u less you ask 24th earlier. Stay for 3 days needed a cleaning. Room is small compared to other standard places.

Everything was great and smooth. The staff held onto our luggage and were very nice. The room was bigger than we expected. The only issue was that even though we were given an accessible room (none of require accessibility option), the light switches were low, but everything else was quite high. The coat rack was very high, so even my shorter friend needed my help putting their coat up. This is not an issue for us, but I could see this being an issue if someone who did need an accessible option were to stay in this room. Overall though, everythinf was fantastic.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unhelpful service received during my recent stay. The front desk staff, when approached for parking information, directed me to the Cambridge government page and refused to share local parking insights, citing policy. Such interactions marred my experience, and I believe improvements in customer service are essential.

Some other reviews were true: the bed sheet was noisy, a hair on the toilet seat. Those happened in my visit too. But for the price and location, this is still a very very good deal. Will stay here again if I am the area again.

Wonderful little spot! Not like a typical large scale hotel, but honestly I liked this way better. There isn’t a key or key card, it’s all keypads, which I think is easier so you don’t lose you key and get locked out, There isn’t front desk staff 24/7 but there is the app that helps with questions or assistance. The room is a little on the smaller side but honestly didn’t bother me at all, I got the deluxe room that had the breakfast nook sort of thing by the window and I loved it. There’s 2 restaurants and bars in the hotel, and there’s tons to eat in walking distance. Overall highly recommend!

Easy online check-in via their mobile app. Room was excellent, clean, and the view was also great. Necessities were provided, the essentials closet was a unique addition and it was nice that we can go get what we need for our room there. Requested for a room cleaning and I was happy to see that they changed the bedsheets. Overall a pleasant stay. I look forward to staying at Sonder for my future travels.

Great location but check-in process is terrible. They require that you do it on line and they ask a lot of private information and pictures of you and drivers license that is not necessary to upload onto the internet and their website. This also allowed them to send me numerous emails (more than 15) subsequently which is extremely bothersome. I am still getting marketing emails from them weekly. What happened to the regular check in procedure where the front desk looks at your ID?

Fine, if you don't care about short sheeting
The property is located in a very good area with restaurants and T station not too far. The staff was very nice, but front desk leave at 6 pm and you will need your phone/email to get to your room after that time. The room was very clean and bathroom well appointed. The down side... the sheets didn't fit the bed. The minute you sat on it, every corner popped off. Every night, we were fighting to keep the sheet in place. Also, the AC didn't really work. We turned it down to 66 and it didn't go below 70. Would I stay there again...no...unless they got sheets that fit the bed.
