We came for a night on the way to Peppa Pig World (30 min drive away) and it had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the pool and the grounds. It was a 20 min walk from the beach but there was a supermarket/other shops just across the road. The room was a bargain, and had the basics you would need for a night's stay. Plenty of room for the kids (family room - 1 double and 2 singles.) The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice.

We had an enjoyable stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Laguna is within easy walking distance to all amenities in Bournemouth. The pool and games room facilities were an added bonus. Our room was small for a family room and the bathroom, whilst clean and in working order was very old.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything if you have someone upstairs! We were kept awake with kids running up and down, screaming and shouting until 1.30am. They were in the room above us. We swapped rooms the next morning onto the top floor. Much quieter, but the room smelt very musty, and the bathroom smelt of sewage all the time! My daughter woke up with little bites all over her arms and legs! The staff are lovely. Even though this is a budget hotel there is lots of room for improvement!

All the staffs are very old, good reception but no good room services. No telephone in the room for easy communications with any of the areas. The hotel is good for people age 80s but not for younger nan like me.

Left a day early due to feeling unsafe. There was a massive night time disturbance with lots at shouting and banging. I was frightened and uncomfortable to the point the next morning I collected a minimum of my belongings and left immediately , cutting short my stay. The hotel did say they were going to refund a couple of days and they’d collected the personal items I’d left behind, I’d already had the bad experience. I wish them well, but never again for me.

Hotel was absolutely super. Great location, friendly staff and lovely clean rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and came with towels, soap and tea and coffee. I couldn't fault the hotel and would definitely return.

Really worth the price. We were there for the weekend with a kid. The swimming pool was clean and heated. Table tennis and pool also available. The city centre was in a walking distance and easy to access to supermarkets, cafe and restaurants. Also beach and Bournmouth pier was about 20 minutes walk away. Reception and staff are so kind and welcoming. It's not a 5 star hotel so you shouldn't expect high quality service but really worth the price. Traditional English hotel :-)

Was a good hotel the staff was friendly super friendly and had my 2 year old with us and the buses parked outside ment he was super happy ! The drivers even let us on the bus to view ! Hail to the bus driver man as simpsons said ! I liked the place swimming pool was good too

The hotel is well situated and the charges were very reasonable. However the following were not in use/open 1 Bar 2 Lifts 3 Swimming pool 4 No breakfast available. The code for the Wi Fi is not listed in the room but has a rather scrappy note in reception. The toilet near reception was on a timer so if you linger too long you are plunged into darkness.Interesting experience alround.

Return to Laguna
We go to Laguna every year at least twice. It’s not the newest, cleanest or shiniest but we love it. It’s cozy, the staff are brilliant and friendly. It’s not for everyone, but it suits us nicely.

Nice hotel
Staff were friendly, good breakfast, although they do need to check cutlery etc. on set up tables are clean, had to change a few of my items. Bathroom was very small, shower water pressure not great and hard to get a nice controlled temperature, kept going from hot to cold. Could do with a makeover and power shower. We did enjoy our stay.

I liked the fact that there was entertainment in the bar, this was very good. My room was very cold when I arrived so I asked the young lady on reception, who happened to be the duty manager for a portable heater. The duty manager arranged this for me and my stay was warm and friendly.
