A fantastic hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Clarion hotel. The room was spacious, clean, eco friendly, and comfortable. The staff were beyond helpful. We chose to have breakfast one day and it was spectacular. So many choices. Would happily stay again and would highly recommend.

The hallway carpet and the carpet in the room was dirty and stained. The hallway smelled horrible. On the plus side the beds were comfortable, the room was quiet, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel is very close to the train station.

We had been to Switzerland. Germany and Austria before but this hotel was the best so far. Great breakfast buffet, the best of all the hotels we had stayed at. Great facilities and bigger rooms. VERY close to the train station and a walking distance to the old town.

Property was OK and staff was nice, but cleanliness was not the best. My bedsheets had blood stains on them upon arrival. The staff at the desk was helpful in replacing the sheets, but the new sheets he provided were also stained with something else. I did not attempt to request another replacement and instead slept without a blanket. Also, the bathroom layout was confusing. The shower was separated from the room by a glass window and could only be covered by curtains on the OUTSIDE of the bathroom…. Very strange.

Excellent location at station. Handy it walk to if you have luggage. Just at the bottom of the hill where the tram line crosses. Turn left after tramline and there it is. Short walk into the old town from there.

A smart hotel with a nice reception and excellent reception staff. The position is just two minutes walk from the central railway station and bus terminus (where there is an airport bus). The room was modern and spotlessly clean.

Good but not great
The hotel itself is quite nice, generally-speaking. The reception and dining area looked lovely, as did the Christmas decorations. The room was spacious and modern, but the bed was very hard and pillows were thin. Breakfast was just ok, but we arrived towards near the end of the breakfast time so it may be better earlier on. The hotel is fairly close to the Old Town, about a 15 minute walk or so. The Dungeon Pub nearby was one of our favourite spots for drinks, games and good vibes.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable, ideally situated next to the bus and train station and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the old town. The only negative was the fire alarm going off at 1.30am for 30 minutes followed by 5 minutes of music over the tannoy when we were allowed back to our rooms.

Very comfortable and modern hotel with large rooms and modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, but bar and reataurant facilities not tried and very quiet when I was there. Located a very short walk from the central station and only 15 minutes or so from the centre.

3 night stay, war greeting on arrival 23.30 and upgraded to privilege room. Our second stay at hotel, love the location 15 mins walk into old town. Staff are excellent, helpful & friendly. Breakfast is very good, lots of choice and rooms good size. Fantastic shower. Enjoyed use of the privilege lounge We will be back.

Really good value hotel near the station (about 20 min walk to old town) but right next to station. Super clean - Gym great - Breakfast delicious. Only downside is that the rooms were really hot and windows dont open and air con not very effective but otherwise great value practical hotel

Falls short of expectations
A two-night business stay. The room was OK, with a view and reasonably fast wifi. A small disappointment was that the the towels were badly worn and torn around the edges. Maybe it’s a covid policy, but there was no room cleaning during the stay. Also, the toiletries were not replenished. Overall, not a 4* service one would expect.
