Pleasant stay
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights and the room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We had to request clean towels from reception. Furniture in the room had obviously not been pulled out for a long time. Table outside was absolutely filthy.

Excellent resort
We had a wonderful time at Croyde Bay resort. Their web site photos do not do it justice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are superb. We will certainly return again!

We booked this just a few days prior to arrival to spend a few days with our 7 year old granddaughter. I’m delighted to say that our experience was everything we hoped if would be - excellent accommodation that was clean, comfortable and convenient in every way. There was a problem with hot water during our stay but we were kept informed and offered alternative showering options and a very acceptable discount without having to ask. We would not hesitate to stay again and to recommend others to do likewise.

Lovely family friendly hotel.
We were looking for somewhere to stay for a night before meeting up with family at a local holiday park for the weekend. As a family of 4 with 2 teenage sons we weren’t sure what to expect but really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would go back. The service was friendly and efficient. We came across a couple of staff who weren’t particularly helpful but the majority were fab, especially the young man at the bar who remembered us at breakfast the next day. He was new and is a credit to the hotel. The family room was perfect for us and there was a good mix of facilities. The pool is probably in need of a service as the chlorine was very strong but the pool area was generally clean. The outside areas were immaculate and it was a lovely short walk to the beautiful Croyde Bay beach. Overall, very happy with this hotel - we’ve already recommended it and had 2 other families stay there!

Cosy quiet weekend break
Lovely little cottage close to the beach for a quick two night getaway. Great utilities and plenty of things to do; the snooker table and minigolf was a delight.

Lovely stay
Lovely place to stay. Hotel room was comfy and clean, nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lots to do around the site too with equipment provided for free. So close to the beautiful beach. Only disappointment was the entertainment. Very lacking in children’s entertainment and the people running it didn’t seem that bothered! The band that was on one night and magician another didn’t start until 8.30pm which is too late for the young ones.

the entertainment was fun for the kids ( & adults) although it finished too early. Felt like you had to go to bed at 9pm which not everyone wants to do on holiday. Had swings and mini golf outside the back of the room which was great for kids to do first thing in morning. Had pool and was by the beach and a 10 min walk to the town. More staff probably needed but it was bank holiday so on the whole was good.

A wonderful place
We were really to find this on a last-minute search for a North Devon holiday. This is such a lovely place with a fantastic location next to an amazing beach. There are loads of activities for kids and the pool is great when the weather isn't so great. If they could improve one thing it would be the service at meal times in the restaurant which was slow.

The hotel rooms were spacious for a family and clean. The staff were lovely and accommodating but the roast dinner and temperature of food left a lot to be desired, same for the breakfast.

Lovely family stay by the sea side
Really happy with our stay. Our room was perfect overlooking the gardens and the sand dunes. The room was perfect size for a family and also the two bathrooms was a bonus! The place was really clean and had everything we needed. Great facilities in the kitchen. Also bonus was the disabled parking by our room as that’s one thing I was concerned about when we got there was having problems carrying stuff to our room. Really happy with the swimming pool and facilities. My little boy loved the crazy golf and play area too. So close to the sea too, amazing views.

Very good location of the hotel - would say beach front 5min walking distance. Family rooms at the hotel in kept and maintained in good condition. Due to COVID restrictions You have to send email over to hotel team to request towels change, cleaning, etc. which is quite fair to keep everything as it should be. Food, well... for this what was available on site we have chosen only breakfasts and to be honest, these are overpriced, not a lot to choose from, and sometimes cold. Overall great place to stay, quite village with 5-15min driving distance to nearest town. Down the village there is 4-5 pubs/restaurants with some decent food. If You are looking for peace and quite THIS is the one!

Excellent resort very close to the beach with parking, on-site surf hire, shop, restaurant and swimming pool. Minor niggle was the studio kitchen that could have been better equipped e.g. nothing provided to wash up dishes (probably Covid-related).

We had a great stay - it’s perfect for children with onsite playground, games, and pool and good for surf as walking distance from the beach. The staff were super helpful.

Fantastic base for the beach and beyond
Unfortunately the weather was not that great but then again it is a running joke in the family, if we are in Croyde it will be a full on storm outside. The lodge was fantastic, warm and cozy but fully equipped and thanks to the clever layout felt quite spacious. I think my only comment would be the water pressure on the shower was not that good and whilst there where 2 available, using both at the same time was not an option.
