Enjoyed the stay apart from one morning we had no water. whole area was affected, water was sorted very quickly. Breakfast was lovely, transport was a five minute walk. staff very friendly. Would stay again.

Their computer system was being "upgraded" the night I arrived and caused several subsequent problems. At the end of the following day my room key didn't work and the receptionist had to re-enter all my details into their system to provide me with a functioning e-key. Meanwhile my room had not been serviced that day. Not a major issue but irritating. At checkout I was being charged for car parking when I had confirmed at check-in that I did not have a car. Also local taxes were being charged when I had already paid for that at check-in and, I believe, had already been charged by Expedia for that element of my stay. The receptionist was lovely and tried to make a repayment but the system prevented her doing so. She noted my card number and promised to make the repayment after talking to her IT team. I received a request via Expedia for my card details and asked for assurance that this was a safe method of providing these details. I received further contact from the hotel asking me to call them to effect the repayment by phone. I was in transit and have not yet done so. The staff team were all wonderful and were clearly embarrassed by the IT issues. I strongly commend them but Novotel should be able to do better than this!

2 night business trip
The hotel is adequate with friendly staff. The property is a little tired. The restaurant was closed so ate in the bar. The food was expensive for the quality. The drinks were good but a ridiculous price (€8.50 for 33cls). However they offered an excellent breakfast 😀. I guess it’s a sign of the times!

Booking through Expedia was a fiasco. We booked online and waited for over an hour and the hotel made us wait. (It was 2:30am and we of course were very tired). The reservation never showed up on the hotels system. Expedia support tried, but in the end cancelled our reservation. Hopefully the mess is over, still waiting for a refund.

Feels tired and expensive for what it is.
Convenient overnight stop, the hotel is looking a bit tired, and the garden around it unloved. the pool was not properly maintained and the changing rooms were locked and used as storage. staff were pleasant but not particularly helpful or quick. breakfast buffet is ok, but restricted. I've stayed here before and the hotel seemed better value then.

Hotels.com sells rooms that are not available
I booked on Hotels.com and went there but the Hotel was already full booked. Hotels.com's fault!! apparently this happens regularly!!! NEVER EVER I use Hotels.com anymore!!! My money is taken from the credit card and when I tried to call and emails Hotels.com there is noone svailable. Very unprofessional and unfair

Super friendly reception staff. The rooms are modest. Good for sleeping. Comfy beds. Air didn’t cool quite enough. Simple rooms but good for resting. There were not enough spots to charge our phones and computers so we had to swap things out to get them all charged. Only mirror was in the bathroom.

Disgusting. Was in 2 minds weather to book during covid but thought surely be extra clean with all the checks that need to be in place. I was wrong Popcorn on my floor. Pen under desk on floor. Huge amount of dust under sofa bed when we lifted it up to be used a chair through day. Hotel did nothing! Said they had to do few cut backs due to covid but surely should have been extra clean! Nope not here definatly avoid

Lovely and comfortable hotel

Clean and comfortable but very short on staff. The room service hald the time won't pick up the phone and the breakfast in the room card I hang on the door was ignored so had to call in to bring me the breakfast. There is no ATM or money exchange in walking distance (at least 20 min walk) so bring enough euro cash with you. The cleaning staff not that professional talking loud in the hallways waking me up, I think some guests were talking loud too but I saw staff talking and laughing in the hallways which you can easily here in your room. The hotel condition is pretty good, everything clean and in working order and some fruits and tea/coffee snacks available all day in the lobby.

I have stayed at this hotel regularly over the last 19 years, on business trips and the quality has declined, especially the food. The restaurant food is poor and the breakfast also. All other hotels I use whilst travelling were all better and most cheaper. I will therefore carefully consider returning in the future.
