Great stay with friends, lovely hotel. Really good food in the restaurant and staff were friendly. Room was clean, great shower!!!. Would recommended.

The hotel itself is pleasant enough. My room looked fine until I looked closely. The sink hadn’t been cleaned properly - you could see where the last person had spat out their toothpaste! , The shower glass still had soap on it and one of the mugs was dirty. I had to clean the mugs before I could use them. The cooked breakfast was too dried out but that’s because the hotel was very quiet and I imagine the breakfast items stayed on the servery for quite a while. I had room service and my meal was quick and very good.

We stayed there for 1 night for our works Christmas party 2 December never been there before Excellent hotel very clean and tidy you can see why it's got a 5 star rating Staff was brilliant very helpful very professional The bar area very nice really looks stunning And the food at breakfast very nice as well Would definitely stay here again

The Hotel was fine - as expected. Receptionist forgot to tell me that I needed to use my key card to use the lift and couldn't work out why the lift wasn't arriving (plus only one of the two lifts was working). Overnight - several youths had a pitched fight in Church Lane with general disorder (kicking doors etc...) Woken up very early to a 'Warning this vehicle is reversing' noise from somewhere outside and opposite before the sound of a bottle bank being emptied ... crashing bottles/breaking glass etc

Clean, smart and well located
A smart, clean hotel, situated a short walk from the town centre. Friendly staff and a quick check in. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. I didn’t sample the food whilst there so cannot comment on that. Overall a good value stay.

Deeply grateful for my 2 night stay while waiting on my bag to be found by the airlines. The room service was perfect. Most staff were wonderful to deal with. There was an issue with lack of food items in the dining room the 2nd night, however, the dining staff compensated for that. All in all, much needed place to be. They are also willing to help me with collecting my bag when it is finally found. Above and beyond! Thanks so very much!

Stop off visit.
Another return stay at this hotel to break up our long journey home. Room very comfortable and clean. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice.

Very good hotel but in a run down area with limited parking. It looks like there will be a future regeneration scheme around the hotel which should improve things.

Stop over stay . Receptionist was very welcoming . Everywhere was clean . Downside couldn't use the bar as we were traveling with our dog and dogs weren't allowed in that area. Room was very spacious and clean . Very good shower. Had electric car chargers in car park but they are very expensive

So check in was great. Had a room with a balcony but couldn’t actually use it as there was nothing to sit on. Went to order room service. Firstly no number to contact reception. The when I finally got hold of someone they informed me I had to order room service actually at reception. Ordered a breakfast to the room for the morning. What a waste of money. Half the items I ordered where missing. Also ordered fresh coffee black yet it came with milk. Then came check out. They tried to charge me again for the breakfast which was already paid for. Wasn’t interested in any issues I had or when I tried to mention the missing items on from my breakfast just wanted me out the door. Il stay for a standard room as it was a comfy bed. But a spoons breakfast down the road will be a better option.

Ripoff car park charges
Whatever price you think you are paying be aware that you can add £10 for using their car park. I thought that at least guests would get a discount on the displayed rates. Room was comfortable and room service meal was very good. Advertised early bird menu was very limited.

Nice enough hotel, but very expensive due to its proximity to Hinkley point C. It was convenient for the bus ride in though. The restaurant was nice but the staff were not very good at following up your initial order to see if you wanted a sweet, coffee etc. Rooms comfortable and clean, all you need for a business stay.

Very Nice Stay
Only stopped for 1 night but everything was really great. The room was comfortable, quiet and warm. The staff were friendly and we felt very welcomed. The price paid was really good value. I would definately stop here again.

Pleasant stay. Reception staff where helpful. It would be nice if a hotel chain started thinking about putting an alternative milk supply or at least offer this for the room. Lovely to have tea and coffee in the room but not much use of you are vegan. Overall though a nice stay. Room and bed was comfortable and a lovely shower. Only disappointment was the Marco Pierrre White restaurant on site where the food was ok, waitress was brilliant but the manager was very rude.

An unexpected Gem in Bridgwater Somerset
I am comparing against a number of highly rated hotels I have stayed in over the last two years. What an eye opener this hotel was... the food was excellent - breakfast, the selections were wide ranging more importantly some of the staff including the cooks understood excellent customer service, Alex surpassed them all.. the bar staff were attentive and accommodating. I had several friends over for dinner and some breakfasts. I tried all the menus including the room service menu, very good indeed. The parking was an issue for guests even though they were coming to eat at the restaurant there was no consistency with the Admin staff. Berta was however the best I found on the admin desk. She was the one who booked me in on an early arrival and ensured a room was made ready for me. I think the cleaning staff were pushed as my room was cleaned once but I did request an every other day clean. The decor and furniture is starting to look tired worn and needing some attention in places. Overall my stay was very good indeed and would definitely stay there again.
