In mid-May our room was uncomfortably hot, even though the outside temperature was only in the mid teens centigrade. The air-con in the room didn’t work. At checking out a separate guest was reporting the same issue. We were offered a reduction on our drinks bill from the night before in consideration for our discomfort. The hotel was quiet, conveniently located - having the feel of a tired, old hotel that has been ‘flipped’ but still retains some outdated features. The staff were pleasant - just be wary of the air-con issue as ‘summer’ in Manchester heats up…

"Perfectly decent. Very good location about 10mins from the station. Clean. Bed was comfortable but I don’t think it was standard double, it felt quite small - ok as it was just me.
