We did not like the shower. It was not easy to use and could have used a good scrubbing to clean up the chrome. There should be some instructions as to what knob does what.

Taught me to check if room has microwave and fridge. Never had to do this before. Was afraid to take a shower. Thought handle would break, so had to skip.

Big problem with the flooring—a strip of what looked like window trim was used for the transition from the hard floor to carpeting. It stuck up about a half inch or more and my husband nearly tripped on it several times and stubbed his toe twice. The “free” breakfast was NOTHING like the photo used on their website and was probably the worst of this type of freebie breakfast we have ever seen.

Outdated property, thus not very enjoyable. The beds and linens were good. The bathroom was terrible- the plastic tub and surround was gouged and scarred terribly. It did look like they had tried to update some – about 10 years ago. Even the newer stuff looked tired, This facility is nothing like what is shown on their web site. The associated restaurant has a very limited menu but the food served was pretty good (if overpriced!)

Firstly and most importantly to me there are absolutely no plugins near the bed. I use a cpap which needs power. The nearest plugin was 20 feet away. Secondly, right outside my door was a deteriorating step to the stairs for the second floor. A major tripping hazard that needs immediate attention. Third, my dog hadn’t been in the room for five minutes and I looked over and he’s chewy on a bacon strip chew left by another dog. Then 30 minutes later he found a wood stir stick still in the wrapping somewhere I didn’t see.

I have stayed at this hotel twice about a year a part, I have found staff to be incredibly kind and thoughtful. The rooms and property are basic but on this more recent trip I found some cleanliness issues, especially in the bathrooms, and amenities like the continental breakfast and the laundry facilities were wanting. It looks like the bar’s liquor license also expired but is expected to renew this summer which impacted our plans. Overall a good value, close to the park—just know you’re not paying for a luxurious experience!

Dirty, old, run down. Our nearly $300 deposit was non-refundable but we wouldn't have stayed there if the deposit was $1,000 Stay away and stay away from Expedia for having the gall to promote such a horrible property.

This NOT a resort though they charged us a resort fee of $14.99 per night. NO ‘resort’ amenities at all. Rooms are dark lighting not really designed for the room kind of hap-hazard. AC/Heater it was cold at night early May. Unit was not electronic, old fashioned knob to turn, not able to really regulate. Either too cool or way to warm. ‘Free breakfast was terrible, ‘hot water’ was look warm at best. We didn’t eat there went to ‘Rustlers’ which only a couple of miles before park. Bryan Canyon Resort was way overpriced, we did it because it was listed as a ‘Resort’ cheaper places to stay closer to the park. PS no meat products at breakfast, runny scrambled eggs and toast. Will NEVER go back

A lot of things needed painting inside and out. Sidewalks were brokened up. Could heard people walking upstairs and talking. Poor structure. Management was nice. Had to walk a distance for breakfast.

Room was very dark and not well lit. Breakfast was good, but food came out in small amounts and there were limited items such as cups, sugar etc that also came out in limited amounts when they ran out. Very inconvenient.

The room was a bit smelly and the property looks run down on the outside. That being said, it was clean enough for one night and very close to Bryce Canyon, which was amazing! The food at the Cowboy Ranch House was very good - a nice surprise.

The property was very old, many areas of the "resort", are in need of refurbishment and more upkeep. We stayed in the best room they had, with a king bed, but its licayed right next to the lobby, and also below, the upstairs living quaryers for the manager or staff, so footsteps and conversations were heard. The bed did sleep better than expected. But the pool was empty, and had wood in it, the restaurant was small and had no bar or alcohol, but had soft drinks. The diner dtaff was very nice considering.This place probably was once a nice place, prior to the Bryce City being established in 2007, but since theres more better updated accommodations located there. If youre in need of a place to crash, it can be done here, f you need a place to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings, this is probably not the place.

Hello, my stay was below average. I can understand the propriety is old and needs serious renovations. But I can’t agree to get various hair on the bathroom floor when we wanted to use it. It’s called vacuum cleaner and clearly was not used.

Sunset was great from hotel. Despite some of the not so great reviews I found my room clean, comfortable and perfect. Check in was easy. I just needed a place to rest after visiting the park all day and it was great.

Property was dated. It advertised complimentary breakfast but hours were only from 730-9 (originally had been until 930 but it was scratched out on the pamphlet and changed to 9). There was a restaurant on site but it was closed. We had to drive a few miles to get food (beyond Subway).

The room was clean and had a fridge and coffee maker. Parking was easy and included. Breakfast was underwhelming with limited choices but had the basics like bread, eggs, pancakes, and cereal. No drinking water was available which was interesting. There are only 2 places to eat around the hotel which were subway and a steak house. Easy drive to and from Bryce national park. Overall decent place to stay for a trip to Bryce!

Didn’t expect much since it was a 2 star hotel, but the shower barely had water and the room smelled like sewage. We wouldn’t recommend staying at this place; not great value for the money paid.

The only reason i stayed at this hotel is because they would not give a refund when i tried to cancel my stay even with over a weeks notice. Hotel was fine, it didnt have a microwave but thats ok. It did have a fridge and coffee maker which is nice. The problem was that the hotel was not willing to accomidate or work with us at all. And i was charged at three different times during the stay, once when i reserved the hotel and two separate times i was charger with fees that the hotel was not transparent about making my stay almost twice the cost as it originally seemed it would be. Overal the place itself was fine but the staff and its policies were awful.

Great location - avoid the fireplace room.
The location and staff were great. However, we stayed in the room with the fireplace, which we thought would be cozy. It had lots of room, but the room STANK all the time like a smokey forest fire. It was hard to deal with, despite opening the windows as much as possible. All our clothing and gear ended up smelling like smoke too. So a nice place, but just avoid the fireplace room!

Details are misleading on Expedia which I trusted initially, the name mentions resort, and pics shows individual cabins with 2 restaurants in the property, but it is just a motel and the real restaurant is closed for good. The hot breakfast was toasted bread with butter, cereal and apple, I trusted Expedia for details and got truly disappointed.
