Good central location.plenty of stairs. The lift is very small! The shower was a 'DEATHTRAP'. Hugely slippery and I was petrified to move in case I slipped over. How expensive is a anti- slip shower mat?? (not much). A kettle would have been nice as well for a tea/coffee in the morning.

This hotel is in great location however there is no air conditioning, which was very warm in the hotel and if you try to open the windows it’s extremely loud outside. Bathroom had some mold in between the tiles. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Such a convenient location. Nice continental breakfast with top notch croissant and bagel. A bit warm with no air conditioning but lovely helpful staff

We had a very nice stay and the staff were very friendly and easy to work with. The rooms are small but normal for a boutique hotel of this type…and very clean. The location is excellent near the heart of Caen and the many dining and shopping options. It is on the city’s metro line for easy transport and is even walkable from the main rail station, if you prefer. The one downside we found was that there is no a/c, so for cool air you can open the windows…which is fine except that the area can be noisy at night with traffic and other tourists out on the town. If you’re a light sleeper you may struggle. But overall we found it a very nice overall stay, well worth the money.

Only positive is it's location which is close to the chateau. the hotel was an overall disappointment. This hotel is in dire need of renovation an update.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is dated but well maintained and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is perfectly located in the city center. We would definitely stay again.

Good location
Lovely Hotel in the city centre, nice rooms, nice decor. Breakfast was good. Only downside was there was no parking at the hotel, so parked on the street. Still fine.

Delivering above and beyond expectations
For the price and what you might expect from a two start hotel, its an above expectation experience. The rooms are clean and tidy, feeling in the hotel is comfortable. There is of course no large lobby or wide set of services, but you have very friendly personell, a comfortable and tidy room with a nice bathroom and bed. Everything you need for an effective stay. I can highly recommend for anyone visiting Caen, and done expect to spend the whole day in the hotel.

Not as advertised
Not a great start - selected the hotel as it had free parking but on arrival told this isn't true and the parking they did have was full. Had to leave car in local carpark which wasn't secure and had to leave before 9am. Lift was very small and only went to a floor below my room. The room was clean and bed comfortable but lighting was very poor with only very dim lights above the bed.

Good for a day of discovery in the Cory center
Great location to discover the center but small room so good for a night but not to spend time inside. Practical otherwise but very soft bed.

Was right downtown with parking very close by, tons of things to do and see close by. The main downside was the size of the bathroom you literally had to leave the bathroom door open while sitting on the toilet because the front of the toilet was about an inch from the door.

The room is very clean, in a good location with several opportunities to shop or explore local attractions. Good facilities and friendly staff. Would recommend for a hassle free stay. Only difficulty would be finding appropriate parking solutions if staying for longer than a day.

Cloe was awesome and answered all our questions, if she did not know she researched and assisted us in every way. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and quiet. The location was good for walking and the town and people were lovely. Only difficulty was with taxi's from the train to the hotel as there are not a lot and there was a large running event the day we landed. I would highly recommend staying here. I would have liked tea making facilities, there was no kettle, I needed to be out at 6:30 so missed breakfast at 8. So had to go out with just a drink of water. If a kettle can't be provided at least a vending machine would be useful.

Good afternoon, We thank you for taking the time to leave us your opinion. It is possible to have a tray with a kettle and coffee and / or tea, upon request at the reception. There is a large board at the front desk with what you can ask for. It is also possible for guests who leave early in the morning to have a breakfast tray in the room the evening at no extra charge and by making it clear to the receptionists who are available from 7:00 to 22:00 for all guests. Short but Sweet
The hotel was only 3 blocks from Express Bus to the Caen Port Ferry. The staff was helpful with directions and maps. The room was clean and a good price,

Is a moderately priced hotel that is a good value if you are traveling on a budget. The room was clean and very quiet at night. It is located close to the Château and bus lines. There are few amenities, but if you travel lately, this hotel will switch you nicely. Thank you very much for a nice stay.

Good for 1 night
This hotel is 20minutes from the port. Unfortunately the roads around it are all closed (which would have been handy to know before we tried to attempt to get to it) We had to pay for parking in the main car park wich was a 5 minute walk. It is in a good central location. Accommodation isn’t luxurious but this is reflected in price. We had a comfortable stay although it was for one night before we took ferry home. The room it’s self was spacious and clean.

Good for a short stay
We stayed in with our children 4th floor. Room was clean, bed was comfortable with many firm pillows available but the room didn't have facility for tea making. There is a good shower. But it is so hot in summer so you need to leave the window overnight to ventilate. And it is extremely noisy overnight. We could hear all the noises from the street, people getting drunk and shouting/singing on the street all the way from 10am to 6am so we didn't have a good sleep at all despite the relatively comfortable bed. Parking is easy, only in front of the building. Many restaurants are within walking distance. I would stay for the amenities surrounding it but if I want a good sleep, I would not come here again.
