"I wish there had been a bike shed. Although fairly small there was room for them. I wish we had been on the ground floor. A great value for a great location - close to city gardens and the spectacular Hotel de Ville."

"Great hotel, really comfortable bed and decent pillows. Extremely clean and tidy. Downside was the corridor was a bit smelly of drains. However, once in the room you couldn’t smell anything. I would recommend this hotel."

10 Nov 2019Calais seems to be improving since the dark days of the Sangatte camps. We have always enjoyed our visits here but now the townS people that we have spoken to seem to be brighter and more positive.

30 Sep 2019Some areas are nice, some areas quite run down, no more than any other large town/city. It is a port after all. Plenty to see and do either on a day trip or weekends stay, weather depending. Only big issue is what will happen after Brexit 樂
