"What a wonderful stop on our trip! The property was beautiful and Edele and Alessio were so attentive to our needs. We had a seven course tasting menu and breakfast prepared by Sonia Russell and Louise Hynes. The food at both meals was so delicious and there was so much attention to detail. One dish, the pea and mint soup, brought tears to my wife’s eyes. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. We cannot say enough about The Blackwell House. The proprietors even brought us breakfast right to our room and were extremely helpful and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "
