I had really high expectations coming to this property. My check in was a flop, room not ready, long day of travelling. My vip status meant nothing, and the gave me a horrible room. The room flooded out 2 days later. I had to pack out in the morning and wait hours for the next room. They really aren’t very empathetic there. I never felt like a valued guest, and problems I had were not important. As someone who visits the area up to 5 times a year, I have never felt less important, and belittled as a four day stay at this resort was. I won’t be back to any RIU, anywhere for any reason. Not because of facilities or amenities, but because the staff is not a group of people I prefer to ever have to deal with when I spend top dollar on travelling.
