"We had a great stay at the Old Brewery Barn with our children (7 months and 2.5 years) and my husband's parents. The house was very well setup and clean, and was so thoughtfully setup with baby gear. Everything worked well and was comfortable and easy. The little village is adorable and makes access to the rest of the Lake District very easy. We would love to stay again sometime when we can enjoy the garden as well!"

"Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub."

"My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time. The apartment was super clean, really modern, spacious and comfortable and just the perfect place to go back to after a long walk. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. "Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is...

"absolutely amazing place, we do travel a lot and normally don't do reviews but this time... probably the best place we ever stayed in... really well equipt and situated on edge of very small village (no shops, no street lights, very friendly locals), just perfect if you want to switch off and take break from stress, this place is for you... perfect location for hikers, cyclists and dogs... we loved every minute spent there... even checked availability to stay week longer but my partner couldn't...
