"Everything was as stated. We were there for a family event. Did enjoy access to the Omni Resort for a few walks. For the price was disappointed in no bath soap or shampoo. Target and many stores were close by. The place is nice but a little dated and very musty smelling for the first day or so. Mattress very soft but fine."

"Very comfortable for our group of 8. Plenty of room for privacy and also gathering as a group. Excellent location near beach and restaurants. BUT since our family cooked each night there was not enough dishes (only 8) really needed 20, and better pots & pans would be appreciated. NO dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel or other normal items found in B & B provided. Only blocks from train that ran until 1 and then started at 6 in morning. None the less we would rent again."

"We stayed in Carlsbad for four days. Our unit was on the second floor across the highway from the ocean. The view was fantastic. There are steps to access the beach right in front of unit and you can hear the waves crashing at night. Beach is very walkable and walk to town is about ten minutes and is a very nice town. Would stay again. Easy check in and out, never saw the property manager."

"Since parking is difficult in the area, we appreciated having an underground parking spot. Rick (the host) was great to work with."

"Attended a conference at OMNI La Costa and decided to splurge on this villa instead of a hotel room from the conference block. It was totally worth it with the ground level private patio 10 steps from the villa-only hot tub, as well as the cozy gas fireplace and the super convenient little kitchen.
