I stayed in a deluxe room with a comfy bed, a private hot tub with mineral water and bathrobes. The room was large, but dated. The tv only had a few channels, so bring your own movies if you want to watch something. It was a very peaceful location though, so I didn’t particularly care about the tv. The only downside was the poor room cleaning. We found a clump of hair on the edge of the bathtub and a soda bottle top on the floor. If you can overlook that and don’t mind rustic accommodations, you’ll like it there. Definitely get a wrap in the spa area while you’re there.

This is an old lodge in the pines, and I find it charming. Yes, they could paint buildings, but the room was your typical motel room- nothing fancy but it has everything you need. The soaking tubs and pools are extremely convenient. I even brought my puppy and she loves the walk abouts greeting folks with their dogs.

Location is great. Check in time is at 4pm and they don’t allow early check ins. We were there at 2:40 and were told to return. Staff who checked us in at 4pm were very helpful (different set of staff this time). The mineral pools feel refreshing after a long drive. There’s a big fire pit and tables in the common area which is great for dining and conversing with other guests. Carpet in the room can be improved. It has some musty smell. Limited restaurants in Carson but if you drive a little to Stevenson you will have more options.

I loved staying here, my boyfriends family has gone here for four generations! We will stay again, and can’t wait to make this place a staple in our growing family’s tradition’s! There were a few things that have stayed with me from our stay, that I’d absolutely love to bring to attention. A couple concerns during our stay that I wish could be addressed. The room I stayed in, needed some TLC. New caulk around the sink (it moved), and a new towel rack… The first night I went to put my towel on the rack closest to the shower, and it fell off! Another cause for concern we encountered, and never heard anything back about. We scheduled and paid somewhere around $230 for a couples massage. My partner was very excited about this, because it was my first time there. He got the message therapist by the name of Erin. I was being spoken to, asked how I was doing multiple times, got my whole body massaged literally. It was a very amazing experience, and I frankly enjoyed it! What was unfortunate, was I thought my boyfriend was getting the same experience. He hadn’t been, and was very uncomfortable saying anything during or after to Erin. So he went to the desk with his frustration, and was met with deer in headlights. Was told they’d call the owner, nothing was done about it.. Other then the fact of now knowing what to avoid, and the fact we didn’t receive equal service during our couples massage. We made it a beautiful experience. Can’t wait to do it again!
