"The only problem with my stay was the soundproofing and the air conditioning. The room faced the Placa de Catalunya and the noise from this area is constant throughout day and night. Daytime you have tourists and traffic and and a Grand Piano for people to play and the night Road Sweepers clearing the area and the window double glazing let the sounds in. The air conditioning ( we like a cool room) day and night, but the setting can be lowered to suit (18 degrees) but after awhile especially...

Great Hotel
"The hotel smells amazing and looks so clean and inviting the moment you walk into the lobby. Check-in was quick and the person who checked me in gave me some helpful tips for my stay. The room was overall very clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. The only reason cleanliness was not 5 stars is because there were long brown hairs left on the floor of the room, even after housekeeping came and tidied up. Not a fan of other people's hair in my space. Other than that, I cannot find anything negative about this hotel and would definitely stay again. It had every amenity that a traveler could desire and was located right beside a metro stop which made traveling the city easy. It was also a short 15 minute walk to areas such as Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. Despite the noise outside in the street, it was very quiet in my inward facing room. I really look forward to styaing here again!"
