Even with unreliable weather, the balcony is a lovely place to sit looking out at the river and woodland, with a canopy to protect from the rain if necessary! "My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "

"We chose Magherafelt as it is central and every part of the province is accessible for a day out by car. Off road parking is a bonus. Access to the house was easy using the key safe. The pictures and description on the website were accurate and the house was spotlessly clean. The wifi was very good. It is an easy walk to the town centre where we had a choice of several restaurants. There are supermarkets close by for stocking up provisions. My only quibble was the kitchen and living room...

"A wonderfully remodeled and modern apartment on a working farm in a rural setting. Close enough to the village to be convenient but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. This place has it all, a washer/dryer, modern plumbing, a small and very functional kitchen, comfortable beds, a hot tub, and a very hospitable host."
