"Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We were very comfortable at this house. We particularly liked that there were things llike chocolate mints, sugar, and other things in the cupboard that made us feel welcomed. The place was a little difficult for us to find using the Sat Nav system on our rental car but we made it. We called our hostess Lorraine once- and she was great to work with- and also stopped over just to check on us. We had to pay separately for WiFi- not a big deal but.. "Hosted by the loveliest people, we adored our stay here. We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. Our hosts put the picnic table out when the weather got warm and stopped by to see us on our way and really made us feel like part of the family!"
