The covered bbq area was a great space to enjoy dinner together. The 4pm check in was later than other places we have stayed and to be able to get in the house earlier would have been preferable. It was set in an idyllic, peaceful location- perfect for a real getaway in the French countryside. "We had such a great stay in the property. Everything was perfect. The location is great, far away from neighbours but yet close enough to shops and markets. We invited 30 people, had a big BBQ and cocktails outdoor, with music and party in the incredible garden. Everybody enjoyed it very very much. Almost all rooms come with a bathroom, all fully furnished and super cleaned. There is plenty of rooms, enough to fit easily 28 people. "Lovely week. Good accommodation, lovely pool and setting. Boulangerie and supermarket 5 minutes drive away. Top chateaux within 1 hour's drive. Don't understand why there is a separate charge for sheets given the overall cost of the property."

The property is immediately next to the owner which we were not aware of, but this would have been useful to know particularly for the check in process. The house needs a good clean. It is full of dust in many obvious areas. Doors don’t close. Not everything was as advertised, for example the hammocks were missing. We ran out of toilet paper after 3 days.
