Check in experience was good and I was explained how everything works. I had never stayed in such a type of property with a separate area with a locked gate and hallway with doors with windows to the room facing the hallway. The room itself was nice and rather spacious with lots of equipment like stove, microwave, fridge, and washing machine. However, I did not use any of this and just went to the local restaurs including the one attached to the hotel which had a nice vibe and good food and service. The hotel is very close to the main square and the Black Tower which makes it very walkable. The rest of the city was a bit odd as a visitor from Canada and staying 3 nights was probably too long but nevertheless it was interesting to visit a city where there is no souvenir store in sight unlike Prague & Cesky Krumlov which are very tourist focused. There was a nice large green space around 15 minutes walk West of the hotel with serene energy.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, if you speak English the staff easily accommodates, I believe their English is better than mine but no surprise there since I’m American. They do charge for any extras such as parking, breakfast, mini bar and if you leave the room dirty but other than that it’s a very big and nice hotel with a very kind staff

Highly Recommend !
Fantastic stay! There s an elevator which was not mentioned in the description while we were looking. The room was spacious with a full kitchenette. Your own washing machine which was a great surprise. Beautiful tall windows overlooking the quiet street. Easy walking distance to town square with all the shops. While in Europe we also visited Venice and Munich and Ceske Budejovice was by far, our favourite city and accommodations.

Homely appartments in center of Ceske Budejovice
One of the most pleasant stays in Czech so far. Except extremely slow elevator, the building is excellent and the apartments are very interesting. Our room located in attic had stunning view and was comfrtably equipped. We highly appreciated convenient location in the center of the town.

It was a really nice apartment with an excellent restaurant attached. It was close to the town square. It was bout a 15 min walk to the central train station. I had a very nice stay there. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful room near Tower
Huge room was nice and very clean. We had a full kitchen with any utensils, plates, and glasses you would need. The bathroom even had a full-sized tub and clothes washer. Would definitely recommend.

Noisy room 215 with thin windows
We stayed at room 215. There were some hair on the pillows and bed but the bathroom and kitchen are clean. Overall it is a spacious room. Room 215 is next to the road and the noise on the street is very loud and bothersome as the window is very thin. There were people and drunkards singing and shouting as they walked passed the hotel and we could hear it in all details. It happened especially on a Friday night from 11 pm all the way till 4 am which woke up us several times from our sleep. On usual days, there will also be loud noise from cars and people talking here and there. The receptionist did allow us to change to room 233 but when we went to inspect the room, the fabric sofa has lots of short hair all over. I feel that hotels should examine and inspect their property very closely for hygiene before renting to customers.

we stayed in an apartment on the 2nd floor in a building right next to the reception. The apartment was big enough for two people. We especially liked the bathtub but it took a while before hot water started running. Some utensils were missing in the kitchen but there was enough to prepare a simple meal. There was a TV set with some 200 channels but most of them were in German. We couldn’t figure out how to switch them to English and there was no TV guide. Noise was a major problem. People walking up and down the main staircase inside the building and screaming kids. Especially the kids were super annoying. While having breakfast, we had to sit in a room where there was no kids section. So again, lots of noise. The management should invest in room noise insulation or warn parents to attend to their kids to maintain a low noise level inside the building and during the breakfast time. Breakfast was overall OK but with very limited options for vegans.

Best accommodations in Ceske Budejovice!
Great location, friendly staff, beautiful room, terrific breakfast, and very convenient location--2 blocks from the main square. Value for your money is the best. We visit friends in the area every year and this is our go-to place for ourselves and when traveling with family.

Generally we were happy with our accommodation, and it’s location. The only two things, that should be improved it’s quality of towels - very thin and fried. There was also unpleasant smell at the entrance to the building on the ground floor

PROS: Studio with full kitchen and bedroom loft, reachable by 15 step stairways. Close to center of town. Friendly, efficient English speaking receptionist. Great breakfast buffet with many choices. CONS: Photo on reservation site (Orbitz/Expedia) showed terrace with view of town for this booking - we paid $109. (This was the selling point for us)! What we received was a terrace facing high walls on 3 sides, and a divider on the 4th side. Algae covered cement floor, and noisy AC units above. No view whatsoever :( Unit had a claustrophobic, dark feeling, facing walls or other units across. No view of anything else. No bathroom next to upstairs bedroom, requiring walking down 15 steps to get to toilet at night. Big inconvenience if you have to go more than once! Noisy AC units from adjacent units humming on and off all night, making it very difficult to sleep, even with earplugs. We talked to the receptionist after arrival to see if we could have a unit with a view terrace as expected, and were told that all units had been taken. We felt misslead by the deceptive listing and did not enjoy our stay.

Avoid in the Summer
Great location in the middle of town. Good views. Room mostly as described. Clerk said AC was supposed to be working, but it didn't at all and their tech essentially made an excuse over the phone and refused to come and try to fix it. No elevators, so expect three flights with luggage. Breakfast just okay.

Dear Thomas, i am really sorry to hear that you didn´t enjoy your stay as you imagined, unfortunetely these days are extra hot in Czech Republic, actually even so hot that they do not have collor for those digrees in our meteo maps (and it is not a joke, i swear, it was in the news! :)). It is not usual here. Thanks to this our air conditionings are overwarmed and are getting "frozen" if i can say it so, so unfortunately the technic couldn´t do anything else in your case than advise you to turn off the A/C and let it calm down. I really hope that you will give us the second chance and that we will have chance to make better impression next time (you can ask our staff which apartments are in the buildings with elevator, they will be happy to recommend you something that will fit your requests), we will be looking forward to that!

Good hotel from city center
Friendly hotel staff and roomy room. Parking is 10 minutes walk from the hotel but there is short stopping place in front of hotel. There is no lift at this hotel.

Our stay met our expectations. A member of staff showed us to our apartment,explained how everything worked and provided a detailed guest pack including a discount voucher for the on site restaurant. Due to location we were able to walk everywhere including to numerous restaurants. Staff spoke English which helped greatly when any assistance was needed.

Great spacious, well appointed apartments. Located right in the heart of the old town area. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff on reception. Only negative was the rubbish breakfast. Unless you get there early (before 8.30) there is hardly anything to eat.

Great apartment 1 block from center!
Beautiful apartment with view--clean, well-equipped, and perfect location. Unfortunately, Restaurant was under reconstruction so breakfast was not the same quality or quantity in replacement restaurant. We have been frequent visitors to this hotel with family members as well and will return again next year!

An advertised one bedroom apartment is in fact a STUDIO apartment as a bed, a kitchenette area and a sitting area (2 persons leather coach) are all in one room. The location is great and breakfast is tasty.

Good location for city center
Apartment in good location for touring city center but you may not get what is listed in Hotels.com. Site shows air conditioning however only some rooms have air. Breakfast is not good. Restaurant has limited menu and food is okay. Towels changed after 3 days. Sheets changed after 5 days. If traveling by car better to stay outside city center as there is too much traffic around city center. Parking is not convenient.

Great place to stay when visiting Ceske Budejovice
I stayed a couple of nights 9/2015 at this apartment hotel in Ceske Budejovice, and the hotel was excellent. The location is near the city center and the Black tower is right down the street and MUST visit the tower. It is also walking distance from the train station to hotel about 15 minutes. The hotel restaurant and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The apartments turned into a hotel is fully furnished and spacious with full functional kitchen and washing machine. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great.
