"Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. "

"Hotel and staff were lovely but the rooms could do with a redecoration. Also, there are some steps, to navigate, depending on where the room is. Staff will help but, if arriving for the first time, by the time you've walked your suitcase along all the corridors and then come across the stairs, you won't want to walk all the way back to reception. Also, annex wasn't clearly signposted in main corridor, so we followed the room numbers, came to the end, and our room number wasn't there. We then...

"The hotel was in a great spot for the 1940’s weekend. They were understaffed at breakfast and the food wasn’t nice For the price you have to pay. The room was fine but we were charged for an early check in and the room wasn’t ready. Luckily they refunded this cost but the communication seemed a bit slack. "
