This was a perfect base for our Cotswolds weekend away. The old inn is full of character. Yes, that means lots of narrow stairs and uneven floors but it’s quirky and charming. In our room at the top of the building we had gorgeous wooden beams and window seats overlooking the town square. Small bathroom. Free WiFi and a smart TV so we could log into our own streaming accounts. There’s parking at the back which is a bit tight but very convenient. We booked dinner for our first night and had a decent pie and vegetarian pasta. The staff were friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was included -and a great start to the day - with coffee/tea, juice, cereal, toast, fruit and a range of cooked breakfast options. Stow is a lovely town with lots going on, including a number of pubs, coffee shops, gift shops and historical sights. Would definitely recommend.

A joy for the history lover, but it has some seriously steep stairs and uneven floors. The room was large and clean with a modern bathroom. If you like historic inns this place is worthy of your consideration, but be prepared for the stairs!

Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Shower was great. Check In was efficient . Breakfast was exceptional. I have two issues that were more annoying than problematic: 1) hotel parking was limited and exceptionally tight (why can't we park in the square with the dozens of other cars?) And 2) the TV was sluggish to respond to controller, and occasionally was just shut off.

A great Inn!
The staff was friendly, the room was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was really well done, and the location was great, right in the town market square, and a very cloase drive to a lot of scenic Costswolds beauty.

One night stay.
Stayed one night celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Spilt level room was lovely and even had an xmas tree. Breakfast excellent as was dinner although the restaurant was closed so we ended up having dinner in the bar. Perfect location, friendly staff and highly recommended.
