"Great little guest house, nice and quiet but only a few minutes' walk from the town. 3 options for breakfast, with eggs, toast, fruit, juice, and self-serve instant coffee, etc, so good to start the day in the pleasant communal area. Had a twin-bed room, perfectly adequate, with bathroom, mosquito screens, wall-mounted fan. Beds a bit hard for my liking, may not be a problem for others. Overall, more than served our purpose, thanks!"

"For the budget stay, it is pretty decent. Downside, it is far from everything unless you bring your own transportation. It is also quite noisy with the car passing by, it will get quieter around 1 or 2am."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean however there was some mold in the bathroom. The shower is a little weird as it was like warm mist. Got everything wet in the bathroom....probably why there was mold. "

"Very nice property if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, but if you plan to visit the city, it is a bit far off from the tourist areas. Also, there is very limited dining options in the evening in the immediate vicinity, and not everyone would be comfortable walking in this area after sunset. That being said, the property is beautiful, the rooms clean, and the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful."

"We enjoyed our stay at Orchid guest House,the locations was great,near night bazaar, bus station and many restaurants,Bar and massage around. The parking of motor bike at property was free and you can rent our motorbike from Hotel and book your tour."

"Wonderful property on the outskirts of town. Town not walkable but they did have bikes for rent. Closest restaurants were a bit of a walk but the food at the Homestay was quite good."

"We only stayed for one night so did not experience everything this place had to offer. The room was nice although the bathroom could do with a little maintenance as it appeared worn. Good walking distance into town and only a 10-20 minute taxi to the Blue and White Temples. The Goddess of Mercy is also a must-do whilst in Chiang Rai!"

"Family run hotel with a kind owner. Located on the main road, therefore it was very laut day and night. Especially the condtruction next to the hotel. The mattress was a bit hard, my back was hurt the next morning. The shower water was not warm"

"In all it’s simpleness this is one of my favorites. Not far from the Golden triangle and Burma border it felt like living on a farm. Nice environment and motorcycles to rent. Very friendly owners. Good breakfast and a small restaurant on this farm but also many small restaurants around. Initially booked three nights but stayed five. "
