Best Western-Grant Park and the most friendly staff on call most of the times. I did interact with one or two not so friendly members. But everyone else helpful and sweet which out weighed the others

The location was great - close to the red, green, and orange lines and various buses on State Street and Michigan Avenue. I heard no noise from the hall. The noise from outside was buffered by the running the room fan. All staff I interacted with were delightful. My only complaint was that they shut off our water one night without any advance notice and didn't give us any water to use for drinking or brushing teeth, etc. I felt like that could have been dealt with better but the other days were perfect.

Very run down location which is a shame because the location is so perfect. Grant park is across the street and near the loop for easy walking.

Nice hotel. Small rooms but very nice. Staff was nice. Eight minute drive to the convention center which was nice. Easy drive to get to the hotel. Parking each night thru the hotel is an ADDITIONAL $50. Or that’s just normal for hotels in Chicago ? Got a $70 ticket during my time checking in to the hotel. Maybe it’s just a learning curve staying in Chicago.

Parking is a problem. Lift is very tidy, seems suffocating. No direct stairs to go to the lower floors.

The ice machine and vending machines were broken and the rooms and hallways were not clean, there was a mysterious stain on our sheets too. Also very minimal hot water. It was a good cheap option for just staying there to sleep but not to spend too much time in. It was also very dry in the room. It was close walking distance to pretty much everything and I loved the area a lot! Staff was friendly too! I would say, if you’re okay with a bit of a run down room in exchange for a good price and good location with lots around, then this is a good option.

Good location for conventions at McCormick place and similar. Easy access to bus/trains/walking. Great park across the street. Con - Pillows should all be replaced...zero structure. Cosmetically, could be better but suitable if you need convenient lodging.

This hotel is in the perfect place. Its a mile from wintrust arena and Millennium Park. Plus there plenty of food options on Michigan or Jewel Osc near by.

I enjoyed my stay overall. Nice, budget hotel with clean, comfortable, rooms. My only complaint is that the hotel is very noisy and the rooms aren’t soundproof at all as I was able to hear conversations in the next room. I would most likely stay again for the convenience of the location, great price, and welcoming staff.

The room smelled like a sewer because the toilet was broken. When requested, maintenance did replace the broken bolt that held the toilet to the floor, but not the wax seal. There were multiple other maintenance issues as well. Additionally, supplies like coffee and clean towels were not replaced. And the walls were so thin, we could hear what the neighbors were discussing.
